[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product gives a much better shave than older models with significantly LESS IRRITATION. Older model could sometimes cause irritation due to having to make repeat passes over the same area. Older model didn't really give a close shave, this one sure does! Also has a locking feature for travel so you don't arrive with a discharged battery. Very important for those short trips when you don't want to carry the charger.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this shaver ‘wet' and the first improvement I noticed was the flip head for easy cleaning. Next, I liked the detachable trimmer which makes it easier to trim areas that the old flip-up trimmer did not easily allow access to. The battery life has increased from previous models.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a Norelco user for years and this shaver is greatly improved.The design has improved with the independent floating heads that gives a closer shave and with the new head geometry it reaches those hard to reach places. And it is more quiet than the past model I was using.

The Norelco 6500 is a smooth and quiet shaver. It is designed in a manner that makes it hard to accidentally drop. My old Norelco of same design was never dropped in the 15 years I used it. It's easy to clean and gives a great close shave. I highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this shaver as a replacement for an older model {arctiec) which I have used for many years. I was looking for 2 improvements in the new model. First, I wanted to be able to charge the battery by plugging the charging cord directly into the shaver. Secondly, I wanted a faster blade rotation speed. I did not provide a 5 star rating only because the shaver seems to have a tendency of not being able to remove those wild white bread hairs. For those I need to resort to a multi manual razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave 5 stars because it has the things I need in a razor. It holds a long charge. It is so easy to clean-the head pops open for using tap water. The head is large and flexes enough to comfortably shave my neck.
