I bought a WGen9500DF as a back up generator for the house since we live in hurricane country. Had the power go out due to a storm, it worked perfect, powered everything we needed for the 20 hrs we were out of power. I did not have a transfer switch at the time, that's being installed tomorrow, which will make it even easier when we lose main power. I highly recommend this generator, remote and push start are an awesome option.

I am highly satisfied with this terrific Westinghouse 9500 generator. The features are fantastic. I tested this machine out and it lived up to the advertisement and more. I'm telling all my friends who are in the market for a generator to be sure and purchase this one!!!

I bought this because if the great reviews. I like that it runs on gas and propane. My Electrcian put in a transfer switch and got it going with the electric start. I live in the NE so if a storm comes in the night I can have it ready to go with my remote from inside! Hopefully now that I’m prepared I won’t need it!

This generator has some great features. The remote start seems like over kill but it is still cool. After filling the unit with the oil that came with it and connecting the battery which also came with the gen - a nice touch. We hooked up a 15 gallon propane bottle. Pressed the remote start and the gen tried to start. It automatically tried to start 2 times. It started on the 2nd try. The noise level was way less than we expected. My lawn mower is much louder. Another nice touch is the four 120VAC plugs are GFI. All of the outlets have a rubber cover. This is way more important than you might think. These should keep bugs and the weather out of these plugs.

Purchased for back up power for residence. Started right up and runs well. About as noisy as expected for the size of the unit. Alot of great features such as remote control, large fuel tank, and status meter. One concern is the high THD rating. All in all happy with purchase.

I bought this generator with the idea of helping my family stay comfortable in our home and boy it did the job. I have used generator before but this one over exceeded my expectations. Very easy to use and what I love the most is the remote start. Overall great product.

This is a reliable piece of equipment. It’s well made, and much thought was put into it. The remote engine start is an amazing feature. It’s very user friendly so you don’t have to be mechanically inclined to use it-unlike my last generator. Thanks also for the oil and oil funnel that came with it. I bought this generator two months ago to hook to my house if the power is down. I'm so glad I did. Our power was off for several hours. And thanks to this generator we were able to have power for lights and keep our fridge and freezers going. Very well built, easy to use, and love being able to have dual fuel options.

This model generator exemplifies excellent craftmanship, it will power everything in my house including the AC! It purrs quietly compared to most other brands and the remote key fob is a great feature! The 3 year warranty beats the 3 month or 1 year warranty other brands offer. Highly recommended.

I bought this in July. I hooked it up to the natural gas ad it started right up. I like the remote start. it is a little quieter than most other generators. I was very surprised on how well built this generator is. I recommend a soft stat for your ac unit. I will be able to run most of my house. i am very pleased. Also, I like the fact it comes with all of the hoses.
