We purchased this generator for the remote start aspect and the dual fuel options. Also the amount of wattage and volts is an added plus. Both of us are in our 70s and the ease of attaching a propane tank and just pushing a remote button to crank is fantastic.

I bought this 3 weeks ago came on a skid )easy to assemble and add oil and gas push button start )it started right away )I put a load on it ran it for thirty minutes to break in great deal more power then the one I had on the last Westinghouse generator the old one I’ve had for six years and still runs no problem

We purchased this generator after a freak snowstorm in April left us without power for several days. We'd been considering a generator for several years and after alot of research, we chose this one. It was delivered via common carrier on a pallet. We got it out of the box and followed the directions. It was very easy to assemble and it started right up off a propane tank. I'm very pleased with our purchase.

Recently purchased the WGen9500DFc and I am extremely satisfied with its performance. It was easy to set up and started on the first try. The power output is impressive, has provided reliable electricity for my home during outages and in N CA it happens often. I love that it has a remote start and stop feature. The durable construction and user-friendly controls make it a great investment. Highly recommended for anyone in need of a dependable generator!

Decided to run the generator after work to check things out and run a fridge but noticed that it was leaking gas from the carburetor. Runs totally fine and does all that I need it to but I was disappointed with the original packaging having oil all over it from the store. Purchased one for my family and another for my in-laws after the recent hurricane.

I bought this generator and put half a tank of gas. When we moved the generator the gas spills out of the gas gauge. I am told the generator has to be level when moved except there’s only 2 wheels so you have to pick up on one side so it won’t be level. Since there is no cover on the gas gauge and it is open to the tank we will also get dirt and dust in the gas tank.

I liked how easy it was to get the generator turned on and running - it was a great touch to have that first quart of oil included in the shipment. Unfortunately, it couldn't sustain 2 1500W heaters (one plugged in to each of the two outlet boxes). Presumably that will be because of my altitude (~6000 feet). We'll see how good Westinghouse is at warranty coverage!

Bought this a few days ago to replace an existing one arrived undamaged. Assembly was easy just put wheels on and the pads connect the battery and charge and it started right up. Tested and it ran my boiler refrigerator and 2 freezer's plus all the lights very happy with this generator

I purchased the WGen9500DF generator for my cottage property in August 2022. I've got this hooked up directly to the BBQ propane quick connect (home is heated with propane). I'm using this with a manual transfer switch which supports all the essential circuits including Well Pump, Hot Water Tank, Furnace Fan, Microwave Oven, Television, Lights and Receptacles for more than 50% of the home. In the past whenever there was a power outage, our entire cottage weekend is spoiled and we had to pack-up. We're still waiting for the next power outage but we've been testing the generator on a regular basis and it never fails to start up. I especially like the remote control. Great generator, I would highly recommend it.

Just got the WGen9500DF and the set up could not be easier. Everything is included. I like the features of this generator such as the status display, ability to switch between propane and gas while running and especially the wireless remote start. We don't often loose power but when we do it is for multiple days up to and over a week at a time. This unit will keep our food frozen, coffee made and even allow for AC if needed.
