I bought this a week ago and have not used it for a power outage yet. However, It started promptly with the key fob on the first attempt. No issues at all installing the supports, wheels, battery cables, oil and gas. Everything was included in packaging just as listed. I purchased based on the Westinghouse 3 year warranty and the positive review ratings. Even my wife is looking forward to the next power outage.

Great value for a a generator of this size: electric start, 9500 continuous watts, key FOB start/stop, cast iron cylinder liners for durability, duel fuel gasoline/LP, 50A and 30A outputs not just the usual 30A output, price. Two family/friends have looked at it and will be ordering the same unit.

I bought this generator after snowmegeddon left us without power for several days. I read through tons of reviews on a lot of different generators and decided on this one for my needs. It will run everything in my house except the central electric heater as it is a 60a breaker. It will run a 3.5 ton central AC, 12,500 BTU window unit and misc items around the house all at the same time or multiple space heaters for the winter. It satisfies my needs for what I intend to use it for, will also be of great use working away from readily available power source for the welder, saws etc. That all being said, it is loud. It will definitely disturb your neighbors, for this I intend to build a baffle box with ample ventilation to dampen the sound. For this reason I would not recommend this generator for RV'ing, however for backup home use it will work great and is a much cheaper option than the standby generators.

Purchased this item so when the power goes out we are able to supply enough power to supply our house to live comfortably while its out. Enough power to use our AC units and Fridge as well as lights. Would highly recommend this brand as I have done much research in the affordable generator brands and this one sticks out head and shoulders above the rest.

This is my first generator I purchased in my life. After looking at others this is the one that I came back to with the features it has. Has plenty of power and works great. I tried propane first and ran on regular gas. Started with no issues. So far I have a week with it. Product was shipped on a pallet and delivered to my front door with any damage. Well packed and strapped down. It is heavy though especially looking at generators of this size. When you add gas to the tank it does add more weight. So keep this in mind if you're a first time generator buyer like me.Generator started everytime with the electronic push button swith and remote fob. One thing I'd like to mention is I can't seem to get it started with the pull start. I tried many times and read through the directions but I can't see to get it started manually. But the electric start turns on the generator everytime without any effort. I have a pull start pushmower that I have no issues starting. But I have yet been able to start it manuall with the pull cord. Not sure if anyone else having that issue. Other than that it's starts up everytime with the electric start.

We were about to buy an installed, natural gas whole-house backup generator, but the trenching, new 400 amp service (electric company requirement), and on and on added about 50% to the already high price. This will keep us going through our too-frequent power outages and keep the heat on and the refrigerators and freezer running, and we can always take it somewhere if we want. I do plan on installing a tri-fuel converter, and this generator will easily allow that without cutting the frame of our new generator. We don't have propane but do have natural gas, which will be far easier than carrying and storing dozens of gallons of gasoline.

After extensive research I purchased the WGen9500 to power my necessary household electronics. The electrician hooked up the transfer switch and cable box and now I'm able to power my 3 ton heat pump unit, fridge, and necessary lighting. Customer service was great. After unpacking I couldn't find remote. Less than 24 hrs after my call, I received a call and the service rep walked me through the places to look and sure enough it was attached to the pull start cord. Setup was easy - 2 pads and 2 wheels. Easily movable with handle. Hopefully will never lose power but if we do it is nice knowing that I have something that will power the essentials.

So happy we have a quality generator we can count on! Living in the northern California foothills where our power can be shut off with little or no notice is a real problem we have lived through. Tired of having to go next door for water because they have power & we didn't. No More! I had it set up and running in less than an hour. Started right away! It has all the capacity needed to run the entire house including the A/C and well. The sound is not intrusive at all. In fact, I consider the noise factor as the sound of freedom and peace of mind!

This unit is amazing, you just push the button, and it will start the auto choke and start automatically. It also has a key fob to start it remotely. It has plenty of power to power my whole home via a transfer switch that I had installed by an electrician.

Have owned the generator for a few months and so far it has been great. It is nice to have the dual fuel option. An assortment of plug options on the control panel to fit your needs. I love the remote start/stop key chain to make operation that much easier
