I bought this generator in mid-December as a replacement for a smaller unit. It came two weeks ahead of the scheduled date and I was kept fulling informed of when to expect it. Unpacked it, the instructions were clear and easy to follow. The unit is a little heavier than I thought but it rolls around easily on the large rear wheels. The only problem I had is that it wouldn't start. I'm nearly 80 so getting down to tinker with something like this in the cold is a job. I sent the generator to a local small engine shop for starting and a system evaluation. Came back the next day with a clean bill of health. This is something I probably would have done anyway, just for peace of mind. Overall, this seems like an excellent unit with adequate power for our house in a power outage. Everything seems straight forward and well thought out. Time will tell how this unit works out.

I bought this a month ago, so far so good, I like the electric start. I tried it on propane and seems to preform well. I tried to use it with gasoline today and seemed to preform well. I did find a drip coming from the fuel shutoff valve. While turning it it appears to leak. the leaking stopped when it was off, however if you apply a little pressure to the valve it leaks. I'm sure it will need to be replaced in the near future, but if this is the only problem I have with it, that would be ok. Not sure if I'll do a warranty claim or contact them directly and request a new fuel shut off valve. They're simple to change.

I bought this to use being that I live in a rural area and we have a lot of hurricanes and this product meets my needs and more, it was easy to put together and it is well put together. Everything worked awesome when I hooked it together for a test run making sure everything works in the event that it's ready when needed and it was. Just praying that we don't have any hurricanes but I will be ready if so. I highly recommend this product!!

I began looking for a home backup generator after my power went off in February 2021 for two days and three nights in single-digit freezing weather complete with ice and snow everywhere. I've lived in Nebraska for several years and we never had that problem in weather even more severe. So I don't trust Texas to supply power in critical times when solar and wind are unreliable. Hence the need for my own backup power. I looked at many different generator brands and settled on the Westinghouse as the most reliable, also one of the more popular choices, as well as being a great value.

I have only had this unit for a couple of days. Some assembly required was a breeze and first time startup went off without a hitch, No problems. I fired the generator up on Propane and it ran smooth a could be. Overall the generator looks well built and hopefully there will be no problems down the road. I bought this unit because I foresee power outages in the future and I don't want to loose all my meat supply. I looked at a lot of different generators and Westinghouse seems to have the best customer rating. I have a long working history with Westinghouse and they have always worked with me if their was a problem with a product.

Purchased it right after Hurricane Helene. We ran a 4500 watt unit that was enough to power lights and tv's, but not enough to add 50 amp capabilities. Received this generator, added oil, it fired right up! It will run through break-in period this weekend. I have no doubt she will run our entire home! Thank you Westinghouse

I have had this generator for approximately 6 months and it has been great! The remote starting capability is fantastic. The layout of the control panel is very nice. The fact that this generator can run on both gasoline and Propane is a bonus. Propane does not have a shelf life so I store multiple 20 lb bottles in my garage in the event I need to use the generator. The generator was packaged great and the instructions were simple to follow. I definitely would recommend this generator to anyone looking to buy one.

This is a well built generator assembled with quality materials that will make it last a long time. I am very happy with how easy it is to start. It is effortless. This new one replaces a 17 year old generator that I finished wearing out during 22 days with out power in the 2021 ice storm that devastated Texas. I believe this one will handle a stretch like that easily. Thanks for building a quality machine.

Bought this in preparation for hurricane season. Love the tri-fuel and battery features--has both push button and wireless remote control startup options. Set it up to run on propane--used the remote control and it started on second attempt (as expected). So far, so good.

I BOUGHT THIS A WEEK A GO SO FAR IT HAS BEEN GREAT IT IS QUIETER THEN MY SMALLER 3500W ONE THAT THE MOTOR SEIZED AFTER 13 YEARS IAM USING IT TO RUN A 192sqt CAMPING SHED I CAN NOW MAKE COFFEE AND RUN MY A/C OR HEATER & ALL THE LIGHTS AT THE SAME TMIE . I HOPE IT LAST AS LONG AS MY PREVIOUS ONE IT WAS A DIFFERENT BRAND .THE 4 STAR RATING WAS BECAUSE ITS ONLY A WEEK OLD.SO FAR I LOVE IT
