Great generator for the price, nice features also!

This generator has alot of great features that you just dont see in other generators. This includes a battery charging port, remote stop\start switch, and dual fuel options (both gasoline or propane). We love this generator here in California where PG&E is shutting off power every other day!!!

very nice generator with nice features

I bought this generator about 2 weeks ago and I'm glad I did. Its already given me peace of mind. I live in Florida and our storms are becoming more frequent along with power outages. This will power most of my home. It is a very nice generator with many great features. I have chosen to run it on propane . Id prefer to store propane tanks instead of gasoline. You dont get quite as much power but it burns cleaner as well. I would recommend this generator. Having an electrician come in and wire it to the house next week.

Great Step Up from Previous Generator

Looking forward to many years with this generator. We went with the tri-fuel so I could leave it running at night on natural gas, and not having to mess with refueling it. The only problem I have with this generator is the very low propane/natural gas quick connect. We built a platform for it to sit in but had to cut out one section for the connection to be made.

Runs smooth

Received this generator today. Was packaged well and set up was easy. Only minor issue was that one bolt hole for the feet was not threaded well and can not get the bolt in. But I was able to make due. Tested with propane and remote start and fired up right away.

Expect to be good...

We bought this generator two weeks ago. We have compared different models and different brands, and we decided to get this one. We chose free shipping and received it in about 10 days. Although we haven't got chance to use it, it looks well built. Our rating is for the initial service and initial impression, and we will update our rating based on our actual use in the future.

So far so good

I just received my generator yesterday, the box was not damaged nor the generator. Easy to put wheels on and get started up. So far so good. Seems to run smooth with gasoline. Following the break-in. We'll have to try this on propane to see how that works out.

Great value at this range!

Hurricanes are part of our lives in southeast US, and this gen is a great value and peace of mind for these times. I love the dual fuel and have been looking for that plus power in a certain range for a while with a good price. It has many nice features that I hope hold up over time and running on propane should help with that. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

great addition to house

I live in an area that is constantly challenged by inclement weather. A portable generator is a must. My Westinghouse 9500 was easy to install and the electric starting feature is far superior to my old generator. Most importantly, I was able to run the central ac unit and two refrigerators. I feel very comfortable going into the heart of the hurricane season.

The best I could find

I recently purchased the Wgen9500df as a home backup generator. I wanted the dual fuel option because after Hurricane Irma we were without power for a few really hot days. We had a generator but it was gas only and the gas stations would not sell gas except to first responders, so having the propane option was essential for us. The generator was delivered in perfect condition and setup was easier than I expected. Just bolt the wheels and feet on, attach the battery connector, add oil and it was ready to go. I connected a 20 lb. propane tank, we pressed the remote start key fob (already paired and a great feature) and it started immediately. Another feature that is important is that this generator is much more fuel efficient than a highly recommended competitor. That matters after a storm when fuel can be difficult to procure.

Easy Start

Purchased after wind storm left us without power for two days. Sat in my garage, only unboxed and put on the wheels. Hurricane knocked out our power Sunday night, once the winds passed I added oil, fueled it up, rolled it into the backyard, and pressed the quick start. Cranked right up and is keeping our fridges running, several fans, lights, charging devices, and our TV. Very happy with this generator.
