Just received our Westinghouse 9500DF and couldn’t be happier so far! Sleek design, sturdy and comes with a remote start which was a bonus because we didn’t realize this was a feature when we purchased! Feel much better knowing we have a backup plan should we ever need one.

Before purchasing this generator, I read numerous reviews of various models. I chose this unit based on the glowing feedback from satisfied customers and its impressive features. I’m confident it will meet all my electrical needs during power outages, offering the best value for its features and output. The engine starts flawlessly with the remote fob, and the generator arrived in perfect condition. The assembly process was straightforward. It handles my Geo-Thermal unit, freezer, and various house lights. The generator comes with all the necessary accessories. Despite its weight, the included wheel kit makes it easy to maneuver. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this generator—it looks good, operates smoothly, and has the capabilities I need. I plan to use propane as the default fuel to avoid issues with gasoline going stale and clogging the carburetor after long periods of disuse. Setup and startup were a breeze thanks to the clear, concise instructions. I was curious about the generator’s noise level and was pleased to find it isn’t terribly loud. The power output is more than sufficient to keep everything running that I intend to load on it. I’m thrilled with this purchase—a solid device that I will be glad to have when the time comes!

Was looking for a Generator. Thought I would have to install a Generator for 13k since I could not pull start a portable generator. My neighbor recommended this Generator. He just bought one and loves his. Was very impressed with how well it is built. Hopefully will not need to use it often but gives me peace of mind knowing we have it!

We got the WGen9500 in case we lost power on our property. We read a lot of reviews and this model had the highest ratings for its kind and the features are awesome! 9500 running watts/ 12500 peak watts. Remote start , control panel, never flat wheels , fuel shut off valve, auto choke , etc...

I am a retired government predator control specialist and camped most of my career and owned several generators. This beats everyone by a landslide. Assembly was incredibly easy, remote start is awesome, very quiet especially with propane, starts fast and easily, good stout tires, easy lift handle, cosmetics are very pleasing to the eye, well balanced and study, panel is easy to access and clear, rubber covers to protect outlets from the weather, easy access to battery, even a really nice funnel is included with a pivoting spout, wow that is so nice for putting oil in, a charger is included to charge the battery with the generator, 6.5 gallon gas tank. I am so very impressed with this generator, it's awesome. I'm prepared if tshtf for sure. I can run my entire 4000 square feet house and my well.

Delivered in good shape in the box on a pallet. Easy setup to get it ready to use. Put the whole quart of oil in it that came with it. I may have missed it, but I couldn't find the oil capacity spec to double check how much oil I was supposed to use of the quart, but it seemed to take the whole thing. I will check the level again before next use. Hooked up the battery, put gas to it, and it started right up beautifully with the push button. Let it run 20-25 minutes unloaded to let the engine start to break itself in. Don't have any feedback on using it yet, but I am really curious to see if it can carry my well. My other ETQ 5500/6250 generator could not cycle my well, even when only the well circuit was on, so that is why I upgraded to this one that was nearly twice the size of the old one. We will see, so more to follow.

Hi, I bought this 1 month ago for my elderly parents and had a 50 amp and interlock with NG set up done on their house and it started up without any issues. I can even lift it using the handle with 1 hand. I was surprised at how much the handle helped distribute the weight.

Revising my 3 star review of a couple of days ago when I was frustrated with my new and much anticipated WGen9500 DF. When hooked up to my whole house Magnum Charger/Inverter the generator GFCIs would trip, unlike my Champion 8500 watt generator which it was replacing. My fault. On further research I found that the WGen9500DF has a bonded neutral. After I removed the neutral ground jumper, creating a floating neutral, the problem was solved. Generator works perfectly and GFCIs do not trip. This Westinghouse is quieter, more powerful, than my Champion. And the best feature is the remote start. Wish there was a was to delete my earlier 3 star review.

Reviewed multiple generators before purchasing the WGen9500DF. Ordered online and was able to install within 30 minutes. After I installed it, I hooked up the propane and turned on with the push start. Now I'm ready for the infamous Texas Freeze and wild hurricanes here in the Gulf coast. Met all my expectations and some!
