After experiencing this past winter's record storm for Southeast Texas and being totally without power on a rural ranch for several days, plus the fact I'm in hurricane country, I decided to buy a generator in the 9500-12,000 watt class. I researched competing brands and initially ordered another company's 12 kw model. However, after it arrived with no serial number anywhere to be found, and the company's drop down registration menu didn't even show that model, I cancelled the order and sent it back. Finally, after additional research and talking to several people who own the WGen9500DF, I came to the conclusion that it is the best generator available in its power class, and the remote start/stop capability makes it even more user friendly. The generator arrived in perfect condition and took maybe 15 minutes from unpacking to setup. It started on the first crank of the electric starter and is ready to do its job when called on.

Followed the clear set-up instructions, added oil, attached propane tank source and it fired up the very first time. Under a whole house load it was smooth and no hesitation. My Electrican was quite impressed. Many positives about this generator. The negative is that it is a bit noisier than I was expecting but not a deal breaker.

I bought this in February 2020 as emergeny backup for home electricity during electrical interruptions. I found it very easy to set up (only had to install 2 wheels and kickstand on pre-bored frame) and move into position. Procedures for initially fuelling and lubricating the generator as well as initially starting (electric or manual) were clearly shown in user manual with pictures for clarity.

I have been extremely pleased with my purchase. Have used it a couple times with gas and with propane and it ran flawlessly. The generator start with a press of a button and also using the fob which I love. Ran our RV like a dream. This is a high quality unit. I know the generator will not let me down in a emergency situation especially since I live in FL and we have hurricane season ever year!!!

Although I only received it today (05/17/22) it unpacked in great condition, was easy to finish assembling, and started easily with propane. I ran it for 1 hour with various electrical loads and it barely missed a beat. I’ll update after it’s broke in and I put a whole house/shop load on it.

After assembly and fuel and oil, turned on ignition switch, fuel valve, and plugged in battery, set choke and used pull starter. It started first pull. Tried electric start and key fob all worked well. Turned on breaker switch and tried power tools all worked, I am very happy with this 9500/12500 Make sure your oil is full, the oil shipped is not enough to fill the engine completely!

I am impressed as to the details in the instructions and the items which came with it. Easy to follow instructions, battery charger, battery disconnect, oil, oil funnel, and a tool kit. I have started it, but have not used it yet as I am waiting for an electrician to hook it up. But, if the attention to details is an indication of the quality of construction, it should be good.

Bought this machine a few weeks ago and found it very easy to set up and get working. Found this generator relatively quiet compared to Briggs & Stratton it replaced. Very happy with user manual, pretty explicit. I planned to use when power goes out and am using 5w-30 synthetic oil which is good for all temps when I may have to use it. Also, the angled funnel provided made adding engine oil a breeze....and the remote start setup took less than 5min....

I bought this generator a three weeks ago and it was delivered yesterday. The box had an oil stain on it so looks like it was not completely drained of oil. However this does not appear to have affected the generator. Only minor clean up was required. Assembly was easy and the instructions easy to follow. I had to add a little more than the oil provided to get the level well into the normal range. The battery needed no charging. Started on gasoline first using the remote and it ran fine. Same with the propane. I loaded it with my floor fan and it ran the fan well. So far I am very pleased.

Don't bother giving a review for the free gift. Fine prints says while supplies last. I guess they ran out many months ago if they had any to start with. Just another gimmick to get over inflated reviews for their products. Save your effort and skip the reviews.
