Have not had emergency situation or a job big enough to use it yet, but I had to use it. I had fridge, freezer chest, sump pump, electric heater and a large room ac all running at same time and this beast didn't skip a beat. It should be in every home.

Recently purchased this generator and it's incredibly easy to get set up and running. I ran it on propane and it runs smooth. There is a voltage meter on the side so you can verify how much electricity is being generated. I'm ready for the next power outage!

I bought this as a home power backup option with the freedom to take it out for powering future outdoor events etc. I haven't had a serious power outage yet to really put it through it's paces but where I live the power can potentially stay out for days. I did do some diligent testing though and was very impressed by it's ability to power pretty much my whole home at full blast, minus the electric cooking range and the electric dryer. And this was only using the 30A outlet and running on propane. Whole (4bdrm) home= propane force air furnace, 240v well pump, all lights, several computers, monitors, 40" plasma screen, etc. You will always have to do your own wattage calculations for your home. This generator feels very modern and cleanly designed. With the remote electric start, and how it auto restarts if it stops for any reason, these features make it feel like a modern sportscar where other generators I've used feel like a smelly rusty ol chevy. It's heavy but pretty easily maneuverable on wheels. Powerful, flexible, portable, and affordable, feels like a win to me.

I bought this about a month and 1/2 ago. Will use it for our summer place. the set up was easy and well explained, wish all manuals were this good. The wheels and front supports were easy to install following the directions.The unit was \heavy and well built, better than I even expected. Westinghouse is very specific about its recommended oils follow them closely. With the attached (strong and substantial) handle it is moved without much effort on a paved/poured concrete floor, I have not tried to move it over the lawn as of yet. As for aesthetics, I love the blue color and beefy look. Finally have something I need and get peace of mind out of owning.

I bought this generator in case of power outages and so far it has been running very well. I'm very pleased with the noise output given how much power this generator puts out. Has started on the first press of the start button every time! Overall very pleased with the unit and its performance with both fuel types.

We just assembled our new WGen9500DF generator, put oil in crankcase, plugged battery connection together, poured gas in tank turned on power switch, turned gasoline valve to on position and pushed the start button which starts the generator automatically and she started right away and purrs like a kitten!!! I'm very impressed with the ease of assembly it took less than 5 minutes and was simple to do. I am very happy with its quality and great value.

I did a lot of research and spoke to friends, neighbors and my electrician. When I showed them the WGen9500DF each of them agreed hands down it was the best. My research backed that up as it constantly shows up as the top ranked generator. It is easy to use and super versatile. I highly recommend this dual fuel generator - best in class!

I bought this last week to power my essentials (and more) during extended power outages on the Texas Grid. I live in rural area and have propane tank so dual fuel was a must have for me. Don’t want to worry about gasoline during a power outage. Assembly and setup was quick and easy. Installing the electrical interface at the house took about 4 hours. I used a “generator interlock kit” from Areisal which is basically a safety feature that requires you to disconnect the main breaker before you can turn on the generator circuit. Adding the generator breaker required rearranging some existing breakers in the home panel. I installed a power inlet box on the exterior wall opposite the main panel and connected to the generator circuit with #6x3wG romex. Generator started first try with the remote and ran for about 1.5 hours at low load before my partially empty propane bottle went dry. I am getting a plumber to install a connection to my 250 gal permanent tank soon.

We are in East Texas and power outages happen often with our storms. We are so excited to put this generator to the test. The advantage of propane is that gasoline can get old if things go well for too long around here. Propane doesn't go bad. We had two other people choose this generator at the same time we did, and found out later we were all on the same page for quality.

The WGen9500DF is a nicely equipped machine. It has all the features that I was looking for. I'll be using the 50 amp service to power my house during power outages. It comes with a battery tender to keep the batter charged. I doubt I'll use the remote start, but maybe it'll be useful at some point. I love the flexibility to be able to use either propane or gasoline. I plan to mainly use propane, but having options is the best.
