Just unpacked my WGen9500DFc portable generator. Looks perfect for what we need for long term power outages and a must have hurricane survival tool. Waiting to hook up transfer switch before trying it out. Heavy but easy to move with one hand.

Purchased the WGen9500DF a month ago for back up power at my house and am so glad I did. I live in a very wooded area and the power goes out quite often. The awesome features on this model include the dual fuel capability, electric start with remote Key Fob, and multiple data display modes. This unit runs very steady, does not vibrate and is very well balanced. It’s the perfect size to keep my wife and me comfortable in our home. A good friend of mine was so impressed that he’s already purchased one, too.

I'm very happy with this product and the fact that I can run it on Propane too making it clean, fast and easy to change tanks instead of pouring gasoline into fuel tank also propane doesn't go bad. Storing is easy without expansion and contraction of gasoline. Also remote start is a great feature starting the generator from the inside of my home or shutting it down when I go sleep at night.

Had to use it during hurricane Ian in September, Used my old 50amp spa hook up with an 14-50p plug and powered the whole house including central air (no soft start). The only problem I had was the oven should have turned off the air, refrigerator, and freezer while using it. Ran like a champ for 6 days and nights nonstop except to add or change tanks ran propane mostly but had to use gas when none was available.

Living in Florida, you must definitely need a generator! This generator is super simple to a, transport, and store. The versatility of using gas or propane gas is extremely important to us. It fits all her needs on an ongoing basis and I’m happy to feel confident that we’re prepared moving forward.

I bought a WGen9500DF as a back up generator for the house since we live in hurricane country. Had the power go out due to a storm, it worked perfect, powered everything we needed for the 20 hrs we were out of power. I did not have a transfer switch at the time, that's being installed tomorrow, which will make it even easier when we lose main power. I highly recommend this generator, remote and push start are an awesome option.

just arrived today, set up was simple nearly done before driver got out the driveway. only area for improvement: oil included was not enough to bring it up to proper level. Not a big deal if you have some to add. a trip to the store for a few ounces of oil would be annoying.

I had the WGen 7500 DF and just upgraded to the WGen9500DF, I had nothing but great luck with the 7500, reason for the upgrade is I needed the 50amp outlet plug to run my central AC which I haven't setup yet with softstart. I have 3 of the Westinghouse inverter iGen 2500 for myself and family members and have had great luck with Westinghouse products. Will update the review once I get my AC situation sorted out

This generator was so very well packaged! No problem at all with assembly. They even give you the tools to assemble. They even give you a nice, curved funnel to add the oil they supply with the generator. Super quiet, and starts easily, due to the semi-automatic choke. Gas and propane lines supplied with it, are an added bonus. Great value for the money!

I bought this generator about a month ago. It was delivered to my house within a few days of purchase. It has every feature you can imagine (including a push button electric start) and it was simple to put together and get set up. I love that it can run on gas or propane.
