Finally got around to wiring up a panel to the house to support the 50A connection to the WGen9500DF unit…and not a moment too soon!! We had a bad storm come through that knocked our power out for hours. The Westinghouse powered our home, allowing all basic functions to remain operational! This includes 2 fridges, a freezer, our well pump, sewer pump, and furnace for heat! Along with all that, I baked a birthday cake for my wife in our gas oven. It was business as usual at our home during the power outage! I couldn’t be happier! The Westinghouse looks great and even comes with branded tools, the battery, and a full manual including all maintenance and parts information I will ever need to use this for some time! So far I only ran it on propane, (burns nice and clean, no exhaust smell outside) and it ran great! Remote/push button start is amazing. Great unit, well worth the investment!

We haven't needed to use this generator yet but really needed it during last years hurricane Ian. Neither my husband nor I had the physical strength to start our old generator with the pull rope. Unfortunately we were without power for a day without a generator. We decided that we wanted something that, with a push of a button would start up. This led me to the Westinghouse brand generators. We were pleasantly surprised to find not only a push button start generator but this also came with a remote control!! This is a blessing for us who are nearing 70 years of age. We also chose the model that is also a dual fueled model....propane and/or gas. Usually during a hurricane, it's difficult to find gasoline so we thought we'd like the option to use whatever is available after a hurricane.

Bought this unit and got it delivered. Solid & compact unit. Simple & quick assembly with tools provided. Attached bubble level indicators to guide correct placement (purchased separately). Easy to move around with the large wheels and foldable handlebar. Comes with oil and funnel. Runs great. Clear instructions covering assembly, operations and maintenance.

Needed to replace our 20 year old generator. This Generator is more than we expected. Great value for what you get. It was easy to set up and runs much quieter than our old one. Great shipping service. I would highly recommend this generator for the value and Westinghouse name.

I just received this united on 9/11/2020 (37 days after purchase) and put it thru all of the non load run tests. It started on gasoline and propane by remote and push button every time with minimum noise/vibrations and no leaks. Ran 4 times for 1/2 hr. each on both fuels with no problems, real test will come when power outage occurs. Only issue I had was a minor one. The weld on nut for one of the front feet was poorly done and snapped off when tightening.

I went back and forth between the Westinghouse and another model. The reviews for both were similar but there were over 2300 reviews for the Westinghouse and with over 89% of the reviews 4 to 5 star I figured I couldn't go wrong. I like the duel fuel option as storing gas is a real pain. Propane is easy and with a 500 gallon tank for the house it was by far the best option. We recently experienced major fire issues in Oregon and with the power outages I was not will to go without power to keep the multiple freezers going. I told my neighbor about the generator and he is looking to buy the same one. Great to have but hope you never need it but now we are set.

I looked at a lot of generators on line, and the WGen9500DF stood out above all the rest. Order it and was delivered sooner that expected. After assembling the wheels and legs. Put the qt of oil in that came with the generator plug the battery up. Hooked the LP bottle up and the generator fired right up with no problem. This is a nice built generator. O and it has a fob to start and stop the generator remotely. Very pleased with the price also.

I bought this generator first because it was American made and dual fuel which gives me twice the runtime without refueling since I can switch fuels gasoline and propane on the fly. This is very easy to do especially for my wife when I am not at home. The remote start feature is great for her on a cold day when all she has to do is flip one switch to use the other fuel

Just purchased this, cranked it up, has everything I'm ever going to need in a generator. Push Start is so easy, runs great with almost no vibration. All the buttons, plugs, etc. are well placed, & the handle and wheels make it super easy to move around. Very happy to have it.

Just unpacked my new WGen9500DF. It was ready to go right out of the box, just had to install the wheels and add oil which was included in the box. With the power outages in Texas I needed a powerful generator to protect my family during winter weather, hurricanes, and long hot summers. So far I am happy with my purchase.
