I bought the this because my wife wanted a backup in case we lost power for an extended time. Put together, filled with oil, topped off battery charge and checked everything. Then attached to propane and it started right up. Whole process took less than 30 minutes. Ran it for about 1 hour with no problems. Only gave it 4 stars because I haven’t put a load on it and I only just got it. I expect and hope that it will deserve 5 stars. W

I had it setup with 50amp and interlock on my main breaker. Tested the generator and was able to run everything I needed. I will see if it can handle hot water tank that would be perfect. Quieter than my old Generac. Loved that I can start it on propane then switch to gasoline. Just need to see how well it holds up after next power outage.

We made the investment over 4years ago after a big storm during the rain season. Luckily we had it this winter season because the cold is coming in with a vengeance! Doesn’t snow much in Atlanta but when it does, it takes the power out with it! My family of 4 (2 kids, 5 & 3) would have been freezing in our home without making such a great investment for our household

After researching many generators available in the marketplace, I decided that the WGen9500DF is the one that checks all the boxes for what I need now and for what I may eventually need in the future. Currently my home is wired with a 30 amp panel box, but this unit allows me to consider upgrading to a 50 amp setup instead. Also I like the flexibility of running on gas or propane. And if the push button start isn't easy enough already, the remote start option with the key fob takes convenience to the next level. The generator is well-built, very sturdy, and looks great in the garage. It even operates at a lower noise level than others units with comparable specs. The difference in noise output between two loud machines may be minor, but every little bit helps! Westinghouse also stands behind their product with a 3-year warranty and lifetime tech support... Final impression - After moving to Florida, I purchased this generator to be a home backup unit for storm-related power outages. Hopefully I won't have to use it often, but I'm confident that it will meet all expectations whenever the need arises.

Received the machine today, quite heavy, can not be dragged on the floating floor. I have to cut the carton on the drive way, attach 2 wheels, it's very easy to move and drag to the backyard. After carefully reading the instructions, I filled the engine with oil and it was just full. First I installed the engine with a propane tank and then started the engine. The engine starts very easily, a bit noisy but I think it's OK. Then I filled up the gas tank, switched to gas mode and started the engine with the remote. It's also very easy to start up. I am very happy with this start. Tomorrow, if I have time, I will try to connect the power's output to my office to see its capacity.

Bought it weeks ago and the set up is really fool proof. Put the wheels on myself. No hassle. Leave the cardboard around the unit so it doesn't get scratches. Comes empty so no leak worries. Love that it comes with oil and funnel. Put the whole thing in. I had to YouTube that. It should have a tag. Hooked it up to the propane yank and vroom it started. So far so good

Bought it a month ago. Starts right up using propane or gasoline. Bought it to power RV or House essentials when power goes out. Have only tested run it with essential loads. Works well with no hesitation. Would be nice if it had a weather resistant pouch to keep tool bag, papers, charger etc. together and hang it off the generator. I'll have to come up with something.

Purchased the WGen9500DF a month ago for back up power at my house and am so glad I did. I live in a very wooded area and the power goes out quite often. The awesome features on this model include the dual fuel capability, electric start with remote Key Fob, and multiple data display modes. This unit runs very steady, does not vibrate and is very well balanced. It’s the perfect size to keep my wife and me comfortable in our home. A good friend of mine was so impressed that he’s already purchased one, too.

We live in the People's Republic of California where they turn off your electricity on a moments notice out of fear of fires - even the day after it rains! Anyway, I just got the WGen9500DF delivered. The product set up easily and was easy to get working and generating power. I was worried about the noise but is quieter than the Generators the neighbors have. We will be able to run our major appliances off of this and will have lighting and a degree of "normalcy" with this generator when the boobs in Sacramento turn our power off again.

Had the generator since 2022, overall has been pretty descent. Had issues with getting parts not only from Westinghouse but also other generator supply places. After less than 6 months the starter went out and couldn't get a new one...still waiting for it. Simple parts like seals etc are very hard to find
