I tested the inductive loading capacity of this generator and it was able to take the load of my home AC. I also like the remote stop/start feature. This allows me to set up the generator and turn it off over night and let the wife and kids to start the generator with a touch of a button.

I have been waiting for a few months to order one, and I finally got it! This generator seems to be built well and takes about 5 minutes to set up. One word of caution, they do not provide enough oil to fill this generator to the proper level. It would not start due to low oil, so I had to run out and buy more. As soon as I added another half quart, which brought the oil level up to about half the dipstick, it fired right up! Voltage and frequency both run a little high with no load, I assume this is to compensate for when it is under full load. I have not been able to run it on full load yet, but I think this will handle anything you throw at it. It is loud but better than most portable generators I have been around, and I work on them for a living in the military.

I am utterly amazed by the outstanding quality and features of my new WGen9500DF generator by Westinghouse! Even the packaging was in absolute pristine condition! It was banded on top of its own pallet! It's obvious Westinghouse takes extra care in their delivery process along with every other aspect of the quality products they produce. This thing fired up immediately. It runs perfect! I am so happy that I went with a Westinghouse generator! Trust me, you can't go wrong with the Westinghouse brand. I am completely convinced. I've done my "homework" and extensive research before purchasing a generator. It has led me to the Westinghouse brand for quality features and performance. Do yourself a favor, go with a Westinghouse. You won't be disappointed. Thank you, Westinghouse!

The trifle generator is amazing. The only thing that’s missing is a load monitoring display. I would like to know how much load is on the system. It would be easy to add this functionality to the generator which would not require me to have a separate meter to monitor it.

I just bought this last week. It arrived promptly. Haven’t had a chance to put everything together yet, but after reading the owners manual, I don’t think it will be a problem. It seems to be a good quality generator, and should be able to power most everything I’ll need during power outages.

The threaded tank fitting on the propane regulator was found broken in the package. But I took a similar plastic fitting from the regulator on my grill and replaced the broken one on the generator's regulator. The generator runs very well. It's through a spare 2-pole breaker in the panel box with a generator interlock device. Outside the house, a weatherproof 50amp receptacle is installed with a heavy duty power cable plugged into the generator's 50amp output. I tested the system running on propane and found that it supplies more than enough to cover the needs of the house including: 1.) Well pump 2.) Septic pump 3.) Four split system HCAV units 4.) Washing machine 5.) Dryer (Heated by propane, drum is electric) 6.) Tankless water heater (Propane with electric controls) 7.) Forty 1.5W LED light bulbs (Every light in house on) 8.) 46" HDTV approximately 750W I'm very happy with this generator.

I bought this unit a year ago after researching and reading reviews and am very happy with my purchase. Set up was super easy and start up is quick and reliable. I have used the unit only once during a power outage and it started like a dream. I hope I don't have to use it very often, but I know that it will be there for me when I need it!

We are totally solar-“off grid”. After several stormy or overcast days we need to go to the generator. Our last generator was the best one from the tool store known for cheap tools. It lasted a couple of years and died when we needed it the most. I took more time researching this purchase. I like that it is dual fuel. I ran a line from my large propane tank so I don’t have to have cans of gasoline around. It took 5 minutes from the box to ready to start. It has plenty of power to run our home, barn, water pump, etc., it is half as loud as the previous one, and with the “fob” starter, my wife can start it without having to pull a chord!

We selected the WGen9500TFc model to replace a B&S Storm Respnder 5500 which had been converted to tri-fuel. This upgrade will cover all the necessary loads during multi day power outages we experience here in Houston. May not be as convenient as a whole house unit but much more cost efficient. This new unit will make the next storm easier to manage. Three year warranty is a bonus for peace of mind.

Our power went out for 5 days, prompting me to buy a generator. The day it was delivered our power went out again for a few hours while they repaired lines patched from the previous storm. I got to start the break in period running a window unit, TV, a few fans and lights. It worked great!
