I bought this a couple weeks ago because we have rolling blackouts during the summer months here in CA & I wanted to make sure we were covered in case of a power outage. This thing powers the house like a champ. I’m thinking of buying another one but bigger to power my shop as well. And these are way more reasonable in price compared to Generacs. Those things are a rip off if you ask me.

Right out of the box this generator started right up and began doing what it was designed to do! Attach the wheels, add oil, gas source, and it starts working. Best generator on the market. Exceptional build quality and user Friendly interface makes this generator so easy to use. Couldn't be happier with this purchase.

First time using it for pg&e shutoffs, so far so good. We are all electric at our house and this has been running water heater,well pump, refrigerator, t.v., WiFi, etc. With no problem. Easy to set up. Gas gauge doesn't work but not worth loading up and waiting for a new one. We will contact Westinghouse for a new gauge.

We just purchased it to replace the one we had. It was delivered well before the initial date. It was easy to attach the parts and started without any problems. It is exactly what was advertised especially with the remote start add-on. It is well worth it.

Purchased them generator on Sep 12. Delivery was supposed to occur on the 15th. Finally delivered on 25 Sep. I understand deliveries sometimes don’t go well so I was willing to look past that. I openedThe box the next day and followed the setup steps exactly to the instructions. After adding oil and gas the generator wouldn’t start under battery power or pull rope. I began trouble shooting by checking spark plugs. There was spark so I then began tracing fuel supply. I had gasoline to the float bowl in the carb (yes the switch was on gasoline not propane). Tried starting again with no luck. I verified the oil level was within range and it was so I went to the manual and tried all listed troubleshooting ideas. I then tried the service line which must not be available on Saturdays. As a last ditch effort I removed the panel for the control board and began looking for electrical problems. After searching I discovered a disconnected wire (appeared to be bad quick connectors or bad crimp). The wire was the low oil sensor. After replacing the bad connector the generator started and ran smoothly. I decided to leave this review after several hours of troubleshooting my brand new generator that wouldn’t start. My intent is not to complain for no reason as I hope this situation will be corrected for other customers. The generator itself looks like a good product and I am pleased so far once I got it running; this is why I took the time to leave this review because it seems to be a good generator and I would like to recommend to others but it is hard to do so when forced to deal with the frustrations that I described above. I hope that you are able to correct for other customers. In honesty I would like to try some of your other products but I am hesitant to do so after this experience.

Purchased, it arrived early. We attempted to start it with gas, it wouldn’t! So we tried propane, that worked! BUT, it wouldn’t even run a simple box fan!!!! Disappointed to say the least! We called, left a message, got a case #, and are still waiting

Just took delivery of your fine product and want to commend Westinghouse for providing the quality I expect from a product made in USA. The machine is very nicely engineered and even the documentation is printed on quality paper, is written in PROPER EDITED ENGLISH and performs wonderfully for the purpose intended. I highly recommend this product.

After first test connecting to a 50 AMP inlet, my main appliances were running like no issue at all. Push Button & Remote start is very convenient. Running on LP it was the main feature to which we decided to get this one, LP has its benefits when it comes to storage. I gave 4 stars because I wished Data Center panel included watts currently consuming.

I Purchased this Mid-Size Generator as we Live in the Sam Houston National Forest, and we have a lot of Frequent power Outages, Originally I was going to get a stationary model and I am glad I did the Research and changed our mind, Our new home is Natural Gas, So we decided to go with a mid-size and still be able to Run our Entire New Barndominium, & my mancave which has my hobbies/crafts projects. I just Love all of the Features with the Electric & Remote & Pull Start. Our New Home is Pretty much OFF Grid.

After receiving this Westinghouse 9500DF I’ve been exploring the features, which are many. Dual fuel, electric start, quick connects on the battery, remote start and stop, fuel gauge, led information and hours, metal gas tank, propane hose and regulator, basic tools, oil, and even a built in trickle charger. To keep it short I’m happy with my purchase, generator is performing as expected thus far.
