I just got my generator and couldn't be more pleased. Followed the simple Quick Start Guide for initial setup and had it up and running in no time. Seems very well built and ready for whatever task comes around. Provides me peace of mind to know I'm ready for any power emergencies nature has to throw my way.

I bought this generator a little over a year ago at the recommendation of my electrician. I thought I wanted a Generac! Thank God he talked me out of that. This beast sat in my garage for a year until 2 weeks ago there was Hurricane Francine headed to the Gulf of Mexico. My electrician hooked up a generator plug outside of my breaker box, I purchased 20 gallons of gas and we waited. Sure enough the power went out and this wonderful piece of equipment powered 3 of the 4 bedrooms (which all has portable air conditioning), the side of the kitchen with refrigerator, the garage which has an upright freezer, the den (TV, internet router, 2 lamps). It was as if we never lost power! I'm so sorry I didn't buy this years ago. We lost power during Hurricane Ida in 2021 and we evacuated to Houston. A 4.5 hour drive took 17 hours!!! Never again. I have recommended this generator to my neighbors and family. So easy to use. Thank you

I purchased this item October 14, 2020 and thankfully I didn't have to use it until the middle of winter here in Louisiana. My old unit was of another brand with 4500 watts output, and just couldn't power enough of the house. This year we experienced a very hard winter with snow and ice with extremely low temperatures for our southern state. Result no electricity for days! I went out and cranked this Westinghouse unit and I couldn't believe how good this system cranks, runs, and powers up my home with no bogging down or problems of any kind. Bought this to use for the storm season. Only seen it in pictures so no idea what I was getting and didn't set the bar high based on the great price. All I can saw is WOW! This thing is impressive. Westinghouse delivers top notch quality, not a plastic piece of junk and even the gas tank is metal. Certainly glad I made this purchase and feel safe with this backing us up during the spring storms.

Living in Florida it is vital to have a generator for power outages. After researching generators online and talking with friends, I chose the WGEn9500. The generator is larger than I had pictured in my mind. The wheel kit fairly easy to install even at over 200 pounds, by using the lift handle. This generator is heavy and you will need a fairly large space to store it. I have not used the generator yet, but it is strong and sturdy construction.

After much research on portable generators, I purchased the WGen9500DFc to keep the necessary house systems (well, septage pump, refrigerators, etc...) running due to power outages in the PNW. Very happy with the purchase. The set-up was very easy and using the FOB to start the generator is simple enough that my wife can get the generator up and running when I am not around. Overall very pleased with the purchase at a great price.

This generator has all of the features I was looking for in an upgraded emergency power generator. The design is compact for it's capacity, and has every control in an easily accessible location. The dual fuel capability offers flexibility, and the electric start (including the remote start/stop fob and a 110v battery tender/charger) with automatic choke provide excellent convenience. Everything was provided to get the generator ready to run other than fuel, and assembly took less than 10 minutes (attach 2 wheels, 2 rubber feet, plug battery cable connector together, add supplied engine oil). The generator performs perfectly using the emergency 30A outdoor connection point I have for the home. I am glad I made this purchase from a trusted brand. Thanks Westinghouse!

Looking forward to really seeing what this bad boy can do! I purchased this generator specifically to run my entire house in case hurricane season gives us any big problems. Westinghouse has always been a solid name when it comes to reputation. It has everything I was looking for including a ton of power. One of my main concerns is keeping the refrigerator running so I will never have to throw away the entire contents ever again. I've done that three times already and thats plenty. My other main issue is staying cool in the Florida heat during a power outage. This generator should be able to run my central HVAC unit. My electric panel is generator ready.

Brand new out of the box! Simple install of footers and wheels. Key fob hanging on pull start. Came with necessary 10mm wrench to install footers. Only complaint so far is the 1 quart of 10W30 4 cycle oil wasn't quite enough to start. Just touching the bottom of the dipstick. Probably not take much to get it into the crosshatch marks on the dipstick, but not enough to risk it. I'll have to wait to check this baby out. Came with a card to get a free cover if you review it so hold off on getting a cover. Guess I have a spare. Everything looks like good quality.

I received the 12500 watt generator yesterday and opened the box this morning! Wow I have had many generators but this one is great. I put the wheels on and had it running in about a hour. This is well built and sounds great running. I have a shop on my back yard and plan on using the generator to power it,
