I wanted a solution to combat intermittent power issues resulting from weather-related and infrastructure age-related outages that was less expensive than the whole home options and also provided flexibility for use in other situations where portable power was needed lime remote use of a travel trailer. I bought my duel filter generator earlier this year. It has been a wonderful addition to my list of tools. I has all of the features I need, and powers everything I have, and can power my home, if needed. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a generator!

The generator arrived today and was easy to assemble, considering I only needed to install the feet and wheels and add oil (provided) and fuel. The generator started right away using both gasoline and propane. The true test will come when it has to provide power during an outage, but now I will continue during the burn-in phase.

The delivery was a little confusing but once it got here I can't say I was dissapointed. I don't plan on there being any power outages anytime soon but thus far what I have tested on it runs fine. I'm not used to having a generator around the house so it is a peace of mind that I have currently.

A great whole house backup - we've already used it a few times and it had no issues running our HVAC and well pump. Because we use well water and electric heat, when power goes out we lose everything so having a backup generator is a must. Yes, it may not be automatic, but at 1/10 the cost of an automatic it's worth it.

Assembly and installation were easy. Convenient dual fuel feature allows for flexibility during power outages. The remote start capability is convenient during inclement weather. Wish the battery charging cable was a little longer, but that doesn't affect the operation of the unit.

they asked you to warranty and review even though there has not been an event to use the generator for. At this time I can say the product arrived as advertised and the assembly was easy. Looks like a fine piece of equipment. Here's hoping everything goes smoothly when I need it.

I have not had a chance to put the generator to the real test yet but it was easy to put together out of the box. It starts with the greatest of ease and is not all that noisy for a generator that size. My neighbors cannot believe its foot print is as small as it is. I purchased this unit in case of hurricanes and hope I never have to really put it through its paces. It is almost like buying an insurance policy!

We recently purchased this generator after our old generator was struggling during a 3 day power outage after the last Houston hurricane. After receiving it, it was easy to assemble and started right up when hooking up to propane. It looks very high quality and gives us added comfort that we will be better off when the next power outage comes our way.

After many months of research on portable generators I settled on the Westinghouse 9500DF. This is for whole house back-up used with a interlock kit. I have not yet used it in a power outage situation but in testing it provides a great amount of clean power. My main reason for choosing this unit was the controls layout. I also needed the extra wattage for a total electric house. Happy with purchase. It was delivered in great shape with no damage at all.
