From Reviews to Youtube, you get all the information if you are a Newbie...I'm 60 and this is our first generator and was able to get it out the box...charged and Gas it up...it is easier then it looks...this is all for Storm outages...and it has all you need....besides the basics ...Portable Gas container, Propane gas attachment, and several extension cord types for the different plugins...Westinghouse...My House and family thank you....well done.

Deliverd with plenty of notice. Unboxed easily with boxcutter. All mounting instructions clear and simple. Rolled easily to location. Connected the battery, filled the oil slowly checking oil level, and loaded gasoline tank. Followed starting instructions and used the remote fob to start. Engine started immediately with no delay (extra cranking). Tested 110V outlets - all were working. I very satisfied.

I bought this because our old generator needed a new carburetor. And with a new carburetor it still was not working properly. I like the Westinghouse because it had so many great reviews. I like the dual fuel, gas or propane, the remote start, the battery and charger. For so many features it was a good price. I now have a good working generator for the next time we lose power.

I'm very happy with this product and the fact that I can run it on Propane too making it clean, fast and easy to change tanks instead of pouring gasoline into fuel tank also propane doesn't go bad. Storing is easy without expansion and contraction of gasoline. Also remote start is a great feature starting the generator from the inside of my home or shutting it down when I go sleep at night.

After much research, we decided on this one because it is exactly what we needed to service multiple items on both sides of our duplex. We paired this with (1) 30A cable and (2) 20A t-blade extension cords. It is a bit loud, but that's less of an issue since it provides so much power. Next up is building a vented, sound-dampening enclosure though!

I bought in preparation of Hurricane Beryl, after testing it to see if it will meet expectations and power up a 1600 sqft home. I was very please after the test run, it met more than the expectations and its super simple to set up. The entire house was powered!! Its a must purchase!!!

I just purchased this generator and did all rechecks and ran unit for about 10 min on propane and was good. Then needed it last night so I hooked it up and it ran power to my items for about 5-8 min and then it died. Tried restarting and it backfired several time and that was it. Would not run. Ended up putting a little gas I had, no more available at night and it finally ran but would not run at all on propane so I was stuck with no power. Call CS and all they will do is send me a new regulator to see if it fixes it but it will take about a week. Wow what a joke and the store I bought it from said they can’t help per policy. This company should be able to call the store and have them supply the part as they sell that part but the manufacturer said they won’t do that. What a joke. I knew I shouldn’t have bought a Westinghouse item and never will again.

We bought this generator because we live in Florida and have hurricane warnings yearly. It set up easy and started right up after adding oil and gas. We added an inverter to connect directly to the house and this generator will basically run our whole house.

While I haven't had a chance to use it yet, it is a very impressive machine. Packaging and shipping was excellent, and set-up is so easy a caveman could do it! All the controls are easily accessible, and the outlet covers looks like they'll keep the weather out. Never hope for the power to go out before, but if it does, I'm ready.

After power outages last winter and expecting more this year we decided to purchase a portable generator. After doing a lot of research and reading reviews I decided on the Wgen9500df and am really glad I did. Shipping and delivery were great. Assembly and starting instructions were very clear and easily understandable. Filled it with gas and and pushed the start button , it took a couple of cranks and started right up. First thing I noticed was how steady it idled and it really isn't very loud. One very important thing to us is having power to pump our well. Our well is 485' deep with a 3hp 240v pump and also a 3/4 hp jet pump. No problem operating our well even with all lights and heat on in the house.
