We had delivery last month, then had to find an installer for the xfer switch. It has proved to be worth our time and effort. Our electric coop's frequent outages encourages homeowners to install backup power, like it or not. This generator fits the bill. We'll see how it provides power during actual outages ... soon, I'm sure.

I bought this generator to replace a Champion generator that failed. The beast was very easy to setup and has been wonderful to own. I love that they included an SAE battery disconnect. Makes connecting to a battery tender a snap. The remote start key fob is a nice addition as well.

I bought a smaller Westinghouse iGen4500DF about 3 yrs. ago and found with a small display problem they Westinghouse warranty made simple how it check it. I did that check and found it was bad not a lose connection. I called them back and the sent the easily to replace part in about 5 days. I am happy with there standing behind there product. I have not yet started it (Wgen9500Df) as i just got an hour ago, but with past experience with them I am looking forward to my 2nd Westinghouse gen.

I appreciate how quick the product arrived to my home. Installing the tires and foots was easy. An adding the motor oil was quite simple. I haven't added gas yet to start it but overall I'm so far impressed with the product. Youtube videos helped me to understand the product features. I have been researching backup generator options for my home for some time. This unit fits the bill! I got bids for whole home units and they were just too expensive. I had a transfer switch installed on my home and with this unit I have a much more affordable option. We will have lights, appliances and heat when we need it!

Unit arrived earlier that originally stated. It is a very heavy unit but installing the wheels and feet are easier if you block up the unit instead of trying to tip it on its side as indicated in the manual. Startup on propane was painless and immediate. Unit shipped with the GFCI receptacles in the tripped state. Once reset, all worked as expected. The only suggestion would be shipping enough oil with the unit to actually fill to the recommended level of between the low and high marks on the dipstick. The oil shipped with the unit barely made it to the low mark. Fortunately, I had oil of the same rating to add.

Got this for storm power outages. Perfect for all my needs. I can utilize my frig-freezer, extra freezer, fans & portable appliances (coffee maker, sm microwave, can opener, etc) & still only run 1/2 of the max. Haven’t tried the LPG side yet. Couldn’t be happier!

Such a great generator with the size and features it has. Being a woman, the best part is the remote start and the quality tires to roll it around. Love that I can use both fuel types and we will be using this in emergency situations when the power goes out. Should be able to run most if not all of our breakers for our larger house. This generator was delivered in perfect condition. It has all the features in a portable generator that I wanted. The duel fuel option was the absolute must. If you run out of gas, then you can switch to propane. Propane has such a long shelf life. I am also getting a 50amp transfer switch installed on on panel so I can easily just plug in the generator without having extension cords running throughout the house. The running watts has plenty of power to run a central air unit, two fridge's and some lights. Just what you would need during a power outage.
