This generator is great. Good quality, great price. Got it uncreated and assembled. Easy job anyone can do. Added gas, oil and fired the beast up. Fired up after second start cycle. Switched to propane and it started right up. Still in break in period and haven’t loaded it up yet. But I have no worries about its ability to handle what I can throw at it. I installed solar at my home and use batteries as a backup. I purchased the generator as a secondary charging source for the batteries. Solar works great but there are still times when conditions do no permit recharging the batteries.

I ordered this generator and received the shipment in four days, which was really quick in my opinion. The generator setup was simple and the machine started and ran well on propane out of the box. I researched several other generators of similar wattage and this model had the best options for the price. We are very happy with this purchase.

Westinghouse has been building Generators for a LOOONG time. they have had plenty of time to work the kinks out. Some of the newer names I don't feel I can trust the quality, especially something like a generator which can be so vital when needed... I would hate to be sitting in the dark with an Off Brand wishing I had bought the best! Love the Keyfob... just wish they had auto sensing power outtage without having to by the portable transfer switch.

I just purchased this item and it arrived early. After an easy set up I hooked up the propane following the instructions and fired it up with no problems. Very simple to operate and I specifically bought this unit for the dual fuel option. I like the ease of use and hopefully I won’t need it for an emergency this year’s hurricane season.

I purchased a gasoline Westinghouse generator a few years back and it worked amazingly. I let it go with my house when I sold it so it put me in the market for a new generator. I decided to go with a duel fuel model this time. I plan on never running gasoline through this generator only propane so I will never have issues with fuel going bad when not being used. Westinghouse is the best generator brand you can buy!

I bought this generator as an upgrade to my current 8000 watt generator. My old generator was good but just couldn’t keep up with running everything I wanted to run when the power goes out. This puppy has every feature I wanted, or would ever need, and packs a ton of power! I can now run everything in my whole house when a storm knocks out my power. The only thing I don’t run is my central AC unit. Rather I run a 14,000 btu and 8,000 btu portable ACs without an issue. I live very comfortably when my power goes out!

Great unit. Came damaged from shipping but Westinghouse got me the part (alternator cover) in less than a week to address. Great customer service! Unit fired up right away and ran like a champ. Full feature with lots of power and having fuel fuel gives me peace of mind. I’d highly recommend.

I ordered this generator for the house and ended up using it two days after receiving it. It was easy to set-up and started right away. I was also impressed with the run time on the gas. First portable generator of this size and I was very impressed. I hope to get many years of use.

After recent attacks on power substations, I decided that I needed an emergency generator. This unit had all of the features that I was looking for at a very good price. I havn't had a chance to use it under a power outage situation yet, but I am confident that it will perform as advertised.

Since I purchased this for emergencies only if our power ever goes out for extended periods, I only ran it for a few hours just to test it out. I don't have a propane tank so just tested it with ethanol free gasoline, but it started right up and had no issues powering several 1500 watt space heaters. It seems to be well-built so I expect it should last many years. One small thing to note is that the oil it comes with may not be quite enough so just keep in mind that a few more ounces of oil may be necessary when first filling it up which is what I had to do. That was the only nitpicky thing I can think to mention about this generator. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone and consider it a very good generator that is priced competitively.
