I did a lot of research on generators and looked all over the internet for a portable generator that could power our home in case of shut offs or outages. I purchased the 9500 DF generator and so far have only operated on gas but it starts easily and runs smooth. It has many great features that are important to me, it is ready to operate out of the box with the supplies it comes with. It comes with oil, the gas regulator and, my favorite, the remote start. It is relatively quiet considering its size, it is about as loud as my older 2500w generator. its also very easy to operate which is important to me so that if I am not home my wife does not have to mess with our old one and can just start up and run. I was very impressed with the quality of everything on the unit and will definitely be using Westinghouse more in the future.

I purchased this as a back-up for power outages and to occasionally run power hungry tools. Assembly was fairly easy and start up went smooth. The electric start feature is great and in the two or three times I've used it so far worked as expected. The very first time you start it, it takes the starter takes a couple of tries (since all the fluids are drained for shipping). So far I've used it to run an electric pressure washer that will trip a 15 amp circuit, and the generator doesn't even seem to notice it when it is running. I've only used it with gas so far, but like the fact that I can keep a tank of propane handy to use in case of an emergency. So far I'm quite pleased with the purchase and value for the money.

I bought this Westinghouse Duel Fuel 9500 about two months ago. I have waited to review so I could use it and review. I did a lot of research and think this is probably best in class for the size of whole house I wanted. So, it does take about 3 times to start when cold. That's not what I expected. It also does NOT have a low oil light or indicator, so probably watch that. It is less in weight than most other options. And I think it is less DB than some of the bigger ones too. It is not too loud.

I BOUGHT THE IGEN2500 4 MONTHS AGO AND COULDN'T BE HAPPIER! I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR ONE TO POWER MY WHOLE HOUSE AND RUN ON PROPANE. THIS WILL DO THAT EASILY. IT'S QUIET ENOUGH TO RUN ON MY BACK PATIO THROUGH A TRANSFER SWITCH. THE REMOTE START IS VERY HANDY AT NIGHT! WITH PROPER MAINTENANCE,I WILL BE ABLE TO DEPEND ON THIS GENERATOR FOR A LONG TIME.

I bought this item 07-13-2024 and received it on the 25th. Tested it out and it is strong enough to power everything. Great features, I love the remote start feature and best of all is that it is a tri-fuel so I can use natural gas, propane, or gasoline.

We bought this generator last month as an upgrade to our old Cat 5500. We are installing a transfer switch on our house and needed more power. This thing is great - remote start, electric start, dual fuel - it has all the bells and whistles and runs smoothly and quieter than the last one we had. Just bought this and am very happy with the purchase. The package contained everything needed to get started including a tool kit, oil, battery and a built-in battery charger. Took about 30 minutes to unpack, add the wheels and feet, put in the oil and connect the battery, which was already charged up.

I purchased this a week ago and it arrived right on time. Set up was easy and clearly spelled out in the instruction booklet. I am pleased to have purchased this. It looks like a very sound unit. I use the chain for my garage to put the tires and feet on.

Trifuel feature welcomed. Well packaged for shipping. Large wheels roll easily. Qucik connect hoses and connections very handy. Battery tender also good idea. 50 amp plug does not interfere with wheel rotation. Ships with needed oi, funnel, and tools. Battery box retainer keeps battery in place better than other designs I have seen. Great product in my view.
