Looking to upgrade from my old 5000W generator and with much research decided to go with Westinghouse WGen9500. Just arrived today 1/9/19, unboxed and set up in 45 minutes. Shipped from Amazon.com in perfect condition. Started 3 seconds after pushing the start button, runs quiet compared to my old generator and looks great. Ran my 5 HP air compressor off 120V outlet and generator ran smooth with no drag. Plan to wire into house transfer switch to supply power during outage. Great features, powerful, looks great and I'm sure will serve my needs. Very satisfied with this purchase !!

Exceeded my expectations! I made this purchase for back up Emergency power, and never had the need to unbox it for a year. When I did, the assembly was easy, 45 minutes, one man. Although unit was extremely heavy. Key fob paired first try. Unit cranked first attempt, and powered all of my needs. I would have rated it excellent but had to subtract a star for the weight of the unit, price range, and for not having any Options for cell phone controls or status reviews.

I like this generator. Haven't had to use it for a power outage yet, but I did it run for a break in period and tested multiple times. It did take some time to get it started on the propane setting. I'm guessing to bleed the large propane hose, but after that first start, it starts on the first try now. Gasoline runs fine too.

It was easy to put together. It was heavier than I thought, but with the large wheels it moves around easy. I tried to start itbut would not start at first, then I checked the spark plug, pulled the cap off then back on and the generator started with one pull.

I have only had this a few days, it was packaged well, comes with oil, tool kit, great owner's manual and assembly was minimal and very easy (helps to have an extra pair of hands though to tilt it up enough to install the wheel and foot on each side). Auto Start/Stop button works well, remote is a great feature, digital display is a plus and the fold up/down handle is great for moving it around. I have only started it on propane and it starts a little hard but after one full start cycle it starts on the second try of the second start cycle and runs as expected.

Have not used for emergency yet but assembly was easy and started with no issues. I have only run it on propane because I will use infrequently and didn't want to deal with draining the carb. Overall seems solid and will update if any issues once I use for loss of power.

I bought this generator about 6 weeks ago at the recommendation of my electrician.The unit arrived promptly, was easy to set up, and worked perfectly. It powered my house easily, even my 4 ton A/C without installing a soft start. Am now ready for the next hurricane!

It’s powerful enough to run the air conditioner during the power outage. My only complaint is I can’t run it on natural gas, Only gasoline or propane. If your power goes out for longer than 12 hours then you’ll have to go refill all your gas cans or your portable propane tanks.

This is a solid piece of equipment that seems to be build to last for years. Assembly was very easy and the generator was ready for operation in minutes. The dual fuel option is great as it gives you power options. Power/remote start will be key when getting out to the generator will be tough in bad weather. There are plenty of connection options and they are well laid out so many can be used at once. Plus it is a great looking piece of equipment according to my wife!

Purchased to use with an interlock switch to my house breaker box. Works like a champ and powers everything I need it to. The remote start feature is simply priceless when connected to the house and the power goes out especially in bad weather. Just click one button from my window and swap a few breakers over and im good to go!
