This is a great machine for the price. I purchased it as a hurricane preparedness item. I never look forward to hurricane season but I'm confident this machine will make things much better if we have an extended power outage. I expected something much larger but its this machine is slightly larger than my 5K except there are many more features.

This thing is loud and the power it produces is "noisy" and not good for computers; even those connected to a UPS. My APC UPS(es ... plural) switched back and forth from battery to AC power. It is a good, easy to use generator and fine for emergency back-up, but not if you want to be able to work from home.

The Westinghouse WGen9500DFc is a reliable, high-output generator with convenient electric and remote start. Setup is straightforward, and included accessories like the AC battery charger keep it always ready. Great for home backup or job sites, though it’s heavy and best used with a wheel kit. Runs smoothly, provides stable power, and offers excellent value for its capacity.

Living in Florida with hurricane season having a generator is a must, and this one does not disappoint. Has all the features one could ask for (dual-fuel, remote start, CO2 detection) and many more. Hope I don't have to use it but if I do, I know we will be in good shape!
