After seeing the issues Texas had last year I decided it would be best to at least be prepared. I bought this generator because it is large enough to run my house without having to worry. I am installing an on demand water heater so we will have everything we need to survive if things get bad. I believe it is money well spent!!

I bought the Unit a few months ago for upcoming Hurricane season down South. I am happy to have 3 options to operate the Generator, which I have access to use all 3 methods. I am able to start the Generator with a remote device. The generator is easy to roll to my outside location near my gas hookup. It is easy to hookup to my propane bottles also.

Unfortunately, once I unboxed my generator and set it up, I could not get it to start. I am in the process of working with Westinghouse to get it serviced and running. Very unusual for a Westinghouse product. I own a previous model of the generator and it has ran flawlessly for 8 years.

I originally bought this generator after we had an extended power outage that spoiled all the food in our fridge. Now I found other uses such as running a generator where I don't have 220 outlets handy. Only complaint is that it is a little loud but that is the case for all generators of this size so I can't really knock it there. Great unit!

I bought this Westinghouse WGen9500DF generator as an upgrade to a 4400 watt generator that I have had for a few years. I wanted one that could power the majority of my home and this is just the powerhouse to do it! The dual fuel feature is a must in my opinion. You never know which type of fuel may be more readily available in the aftermath of a storm. The fuel source can be switched from one to the other on the fly which is very nice. This generator is extremely heavy duty and very well built. The remote start is also a very nice feature. I would absolutely recommend this generator to anyone looking for some serious power from a high quality unit. Get it, you will not be disappointed.

I bought this to replace an old 6500W generator that had just worn out. This one is grat and pretty much runs anything I want in my house, even if not all at once. The electric start is a real luxury for me, getting too old to pull that crank. The built in charger is well place and the wheels and handle make it easy to move around.

I bought this unit to give my wife piece of mind. No need for pull start as we are both senior citizens and don’t have the strength to deal with a pull start.All hard wired in and here is to hoping we never have to use it. Thanx for the fast and easy delivery.

The generator was at a great price and easy to set up, but don't expect a miracle cure, especially if you have use long extension cords. Also, couldn't change the oil after 25 hours. The plug simply would not come out no matter how hard we tried. Granted, we stopped at a point where we were pretty sure if we put any more torque on the plug it would have sheared. Otherwise, if you need something to run small devices and tools, at a short distance the Westinghouse 9500 is a good buy.

I bought this generator before the Florida hurricane season to power up my house when the electricity goes off. It's capable of powering up my HVAC system, refrigerator, internet, some lights, and hopefully the water heater. It has all the features I have been looking for. I did extensive research and selected this generator. The reviews were consistently high for this model.

I bought this generator recently and it works great. Having a relay station set up this week so we are prepared to keep power during hurricane season. The remote start is such a great feature since we are getting older we don't have to pull on the cord.
