After IAN I wanted to upgrade smaller generator that got us through Charlie and Irma.I hope I never have to use it but will suite my situation have 250 gal LP for house and always keep 20 gal gas on hand during storm season.with the dual fuel options should not have to seek out fuel immediately after storm as in the past.

Received my generator within a few days of ordering and on time. Easily assembled and started right up. Did a small load test on it and it powered the items. Will add more when I connect it to a heavier load but so far looks like it will do the job.

Just received my Westinghouse 9500WGen DF 50 Amp generator. The generator was delivered in great condition and the setup could not have been any easier. Work instructions were clear and accurate and everything needed for setup was provided in the box. Tested the dual fuel function and both worked well and were easy to switch over. Appears to be well built can't wait to try it out on our first power outage.

Although not needed in real time use yet, this model has started without hesitation each time it is fired up. The battery has needed trickle charge once but only took a couple minutes to reach starting capacity. Will be a reliable member of the family

Purchased due to the number of power outages in our area, fair weather or foul. This generator should power enough of the entire house to protect our perishables , and keep us warm, dry, and fed until power is restored. The dual-fuel feature is a great benefit.

This is the best generator I have used. I have used it twice this year. The first time was for 3 days strait and the second time was for 2 days straight. The electric start and automatic choke worked perfectly. nothing like pushing a button and having instant power.

You won't find a better gen w/ all these features for the price. I have (2) two. Assembled, hooked up batt., added oil, hooked up to LP tank and it fired up first time time w/ remote! Pros: +Multi-fuel flexibility +LP is great! No worries about old petrol. +Seems rugged as frame wraps all the way around including top +50 amp outlet +No tires to maintain inflation/flats to worry about +Noise level is as expected Cons: -Delivery w/o damage seems to be an issue. Delivery team dropped 1st gen on control panel side bending it in. 2nd gen also had what appeared to be minor cosmetic flaws (dents, scratches, etc.) -Manufacturer could do a little more to assure delivery w/o damage (e.g Add a little thicker foam on control panel side. Small wood slats on bottom stays, etc.) would go a long way.

After delivery, I cut the corners of the box and found everything nicely packaged. Installation of legs and wheels took about 15 minutes. Added oil with funnel, that came with the generator, tool kit also included. I added gasoline, selected gasoline on the fuel selector, connected the battery, pushed the start button and it started on the second try. This unit runs quieter than my previous smaller one, which I’m sure my neighbors will appreciate. Nice features like the key fob that start and stop the unit and the tri fuel are going to make life easer during power outages. This model came with great reviews which helped make my decision easier.

I did the research on what's is out there. This one is the best bang for the money. Everything works great right out of the box, just put your wheels on and oil in and your good. The remote start is really nice, it's great for my wife. The dual power is great to. It can be hard to fine gas when power has been out for a while, like during a hurricane. So being able to switch over to propane is nice.

I purchased this generator to power my first floor, of a two story house, during power outages. I live in Florida on the east coast. Power outages are a constant problem along with hurricanes and tropical storms. I have already used this generator twice and it has done everything its supposed to do.
