I bought this generator at a bargain.the shipping company was very good and quick considering the ice storms in the area.the generator was a little hard to start on propane hopefully that changes once the engine breaks in. Was in good condition when delivered.the only negative is the wheels the right one rubs on the battery box

We purchased the 9500DF last year. We have been able to use this through both construction projects and weather events. Then we recently added the bypass plug on the house and it's Getting the job done for whole house electricity in our 1800 sqft. space.

Setup was very easy. In particular, the remote pairing (which is normally a nightmare) was really clean and easy. The unit was bought online and some of these comments are probably online-specific. My unit (and it may not be true of everyone's) shipped with the battery hooked up, so the "Connecting the Battery" steps on page 12 were not necessary. I needed to charge the battery on receipt, which was easy enough. Note that the instructions for charging in the manual are on page 29 (not 30 as it says in the Table of Contents).

This unit is amazing, you just push the button, and it will start the auto choke and start automatically. It also has a key fob to start it remotely. It has plenty of power to power my whole home via a transfer switch that I had installed by an electrician.

I've owned multiple generators over the years but this one is by far the most superior generator I've ever bought. The dual fuel option along with the remote start make it in my option the top of the line option available to purchase for home emergency power. I highly recommend to anyone unsure which option to go with if you are searching for a stand by generator.

This product performed exceptionally during our last power outage that lasted 8 days, saved the day and a lot of food. We were glad to have the dual fuel capabilities as we needed to use both. Getting up and running was easy with the clear and concise instructions.

Haven't had to use this generator yet, but the easy setup and incredible power it gives brings me a huge sense of security for the upcoming winter. Power outages where I live are becoming more and more frequent, and this is amazing to have as a backup.

Two days after I received the 9500DF I finally got the generator started after figuring out you needed to plug in the battery charger to get the engine started. Took 20 - yes 20 starts before the engine finally turned over. It works - haven't used it yet in a blackout condition. We will see . . .

The generator was delivered in excellent shape. I unpacked it and put the wheels alone by myself. It is easy to move around with the handle bar. I used Propane to start it up after adding the crank case oil. I pushed the key fob remote once and the engine automatically cranked three separate time then started. It is pretty loud but what can you expect? Inside I could barely hear it though on the other side of the house. I plugged in a light to see if it worked, and it did. So far, so good. The electrician comes soon to wire a transfer switch.

I purchased this generator in June of 2021 and have used it a few times since. I love the features like the fact that you can use gasoline or propane, the remote start, and multiple outlet options. Even though it weighs a lot, it is very easily maneuverable and I love the fact that the handle folds down out of the way when not in use.
