I live on the east coast of Florida. After a lengthy search and study I purchased this dual fuel model so that I may be prepared for what ever may come in the wake of losing power to my home after a hurricane. I have dealt with power outages due to storms many times and the aftermath is unpredictable. When a power grid goes out all the gas stations lose power as well and if the power is out for weeks you can find yourself in a dire predicament. Having more than one option for fuel makes sense. I found this generator to be a great value for features and price. I am very pleased with it's power and performance! I would recommend this generator to anyone who wants to be better prepared for emergencies.

This is my second Westinghouse generator. Because I have been so pleased with the first one purchased about 5 years ago, I purchased this larger dual fuel model. Extremely well made and great features. I really like the key fob remote start. This generator has all the power I need for emergencies. Instructions are well written and easy to understand. I also purchased the Westinghouse transfer switch. Again, repeat customer and no complaints.

bought this WGEN9500DF Generator to replace a B&S generator, which "died" with only 100 hours of use. In my country, Venezuela, light and prolonged crots are frequent, which requires a Generator. The WGEN9500 ​​complies with everything I required it to power my house, including a hydropneumatic pump.

I bought this about 2 months ago and haven't had to use it yet, but I do enjoy the option of being able to use it using my homes natural gas. It seems to be well built and easy to assemble the few things you need to do to start using it. I'm actually looking forward to using it.

The unit was as advertised, cranked with first try, I'm an electrician so my first move was to check the voltage, perfect with Fluke 87, GFCI 120v outlets were present code correct weather resistant, all switches and breakers worked , I'm happy with unit.

Living in Florida we face hurricanes and lighting storms every year. Having such a powerful and convenient generator has allowed my family and I to have less worry when situations arise that may interrupt our lives. Loss of power is not only uncomfortable in the Florida heat, but it brings loss of food, and basic life functions. We have piece of mind having our generator ready at a moments notice. I bought this generator a three weeks ago and it was delivered yesterday. The box had an oil stain on it so looks like it was not completely drained of oil. However this does not appear to have affected the generator. Only minor clean up was required. Assembly was easy and the instructions easy to follow. I had to add a little more than the oil provided to get the level well into the normal range. The battery needed no charging. Started on gasoline first using the remote and it ran fine. Same with the propane. I loaded it with my floor fan and it ran the fan well. So far I am very pleased.

Assembly was simple with clear directions. Everything needed to get started with any of the 3 fuel types was in the box. Started on 1st pull. Could not get the wireless key fob to pair despite following directions as written. If I could get that fob to work, I would gladly update this to a 5 star review. Contact me westinghouse and help me get this fob paired :)

This generator checks all the boxes. I was looking for a generator big enough to run my air conditioning, fans and lights. I have yet to have a need to use this as a power back-up but I have used it as a power source for exterior work. The generator is very easy to set up and, while heavy, is relatively easy to maneuver around. Noise levels are decent, particularly given the output of the model. Very happy with the purchase. :)

Very easy to assemble. Love the remote start, but not as quick as I expected to come on and turn off with it. The feature of the USB ports is great as we are at cattle shows and sometimes need the access to charge phones. Look forward to using it at the shows as the reason we got the bigger one.
