I am well aware of the longevity of Westinghouse as a company, so yes I am getting old. I purchased this generator for emergency power outages and after extensive review of many competitors feel this generator is a great value considering all the included features. I haven’t even unpacked the generator yet until I receive the high altitude kit, however based on many positive reviews I feel this product will outlast me! I opted for the version without the CO2 sensor as this generator will be far away from any occupied structures but didn’t want to deal with CO2 issues if I use some form of sound dampening thereby shutting down the generator. I have two other generators from other reputable companies one of which I have owned for 12 years and only been able to run for 4 hours! I plan on using propane in this generator as our power outages are usually short lived and infrequent thanks to French Broad Electric, but I hate ethanol blends and only use non-ethanol fuel. I like the dual fuel option.

I purchased this unit a few weeks ago. First impression was great quality. Well built and thought out for ease of use and startup. The instruction manual is very good and easy to understand. Initial startup was complete and running in 30 minutes. All of the features are well arranged on the control panel. The dual fuel is a great option to have in the event gasoline is not available due to loss of power in the area. This allows you to have two fuels available for longer running times. The ECO mode is good in that it operates the unit in a fuel conservative mode extending run times. The size of the unit is easily managed considering the output capacity. Other units of this size are much larger and heavier. The additional output plugs will allow you to run the unit on lower current systems and still be protected from overloading circuits. The price is very competitive as well. A good value for all you get in an emergency open frame generator.

I haven't really had to use it yet but was very pleased with the easy set up. It took me longer to cut up the cardboard for the recycle bin then to set it up. I also was concerned it would be too heavy but it is easy to roll around on the wheels with the handle.

I bought this two weeks ago and I am extremely happy with my purchase. Spent a month researching generators and found the options on this model fit all my needs. This will provide my wife and myself peace of mind with the recent upward trends of Hurricanes and winter freezes like we've endured, even here in South Texas.

This Generator has so many Great Features. I love the remote start! This makes it so easy for my Wife to start it. Once I put the oil & Gas in it started the first time in seconds. It will run one of my Air Conditioners. I also love the fact that it has a handle to pull it around with the nice big wheels. I am very pleased with my investment!

I bought this a week ago and I am so pleased with it so far. I received it earlier than expected, the box was not damaged in any way and everything was in order. All the paperwork was included manuals and all were easy to read with easy to follow instructions. The process of installing the wheels and the feet was easier than I expected and was done with it in just a few minutes with minimal effort and tools. I am ashamed to say that I almost cannot wait for a power outage to put it to the big test. I am confident with what I have seen and experienced that this is absolutely the best choice for the price. I BOUGHT THIS A WEEK A GO SO FAR IT HAS BEEN GREAT IT IS QUIETER THEN MY SMALLER 3500W ONE THAT THE MOTOR SEIZED AFTER 13 YEARS IAM USING IT TO RUN A 192sqt CAMPING SHED I CAN NOW MAKE COFFEE AND RUN MY A/C OR HEATER & ALL THE LIGHTS AT THE SAME TMIE . I HOPE IT LAST AS LONG AS MY PREVIOUS ONE IT WAS A DIFFERENT BRAND .THE 4 STAR RATING WAS BECAUSE ITS ONLY A WEEK OLD.SO FAR I LOVE IT

I recently upgraded to the WGEN9500dfc from my Champion Generator, and I'm so glad that i did. It came almost fully assembled out of the box. All I had to do was attach the wheels. It is very easy to maneuver. Remote electric start feature is a definite plus, as well as the dual fuel capability and the quick connects.

Simply Amazing! Right out of the box, got it oiled and gassed up an with the press of a button you hear this beast ROAR (quietly). Great exhaust system for decent idle sound, folding handle is great and the run flat tires are a huge plus for this 240lb machine rolling around in a heavy duty steel frame. My neighbor just ordered his and my other neighbor is soon to order. Definitely the talk of the street! This item will not disappoint. Thank you Westinghouse!

Bought this a few weeks ago and it delivers on everything promised. Super easy set up instructions and warranty information, as well as a required maintenance reference card. I've only ran it for a little while, preparing for hurricane season, but so far I am not disappointed whatsoever. Great purchase for the price!
