We had 3 day power outage due to ice storm and tree damages. I was using generator 2 day straight using 20 ga propane tanks. Great performance and reliability. I setup transfer switch for el. panel and powered whole house. The only inconvenience is to stop the generator to switch the propane tanks. But otherwise it’s a great product!!! Thanks.

This 68 year old woman was able to do the minimal assembly required of this well packaged machine; add the included oil; hook up an LP tank with the enclosed hose (with regulator) and start it up...all by myself. (That's not to say I wasn't somewhat apprehensive.) The remote was already paired with the machine and the generator started on the 2nd automatic attempt. This was a positive experience for self-confidence! Now that I have it, the neighbors can thank me if we never lose power again!

I purchased and received this generator within the last three weeks however I am very pleased with the packaging & appearance of this item as I have been searching for the right emergency generator for months. I will complete the start-up this week and update this review at that time.

Bought it for my dad and it is perfect! He’s thrilled as he lives about 200 miles away and is 90 - so, with Winter coming up, there isn’t the worry that he had before when he lost power. After a power outage caused by vandalism and sabotage of 2 electrical substations in our community on December 3, 2022, I knew it was time to invest in a more efficient and convenient generator for me and my family. After researching many generators, I found the Westinghouse 125000/9500DF was what we needed. Two heat pumps, two hot water heaters, 2 refrigerators and a deep freeze, and other necessities…this generator will run everything we need. The dual fuel feature and electric start with a remote was a definite sell for us. Our electrician has everything connected and we are prepared for any outages in the future. I would definitely buy this again but also would recommend it to anyone. Thanks Westinghouse!

I purchased this Generator as I live in Ontario and Winter storms are a certainty, and I wanted something to keep the lights on and the heating working. This generator is superbly well made. I checked all fittings when it arrived, and all were tight. The unit is made of very high quality material and feels as though it will last for decades. The control panel is comprehensive and very intuitive to use. My highest praise is for the instruction manual/user guide - they are extremely clear and easy to follow and you need no knowledge of generators to get this up and running in minutes. There is only point I would make, and it is an observation and not a criticism...the unit is shipped without the wheels and feet attached and the user must turn it onto it's side to do this. The generator is very heavy and a person not able to move a very heavy item is likely to need assistance to do this. I am so impressed with this generator that I almost want a power outage to happen so I can enjoy the peace of mind this generator has given me.

I bought this over a year ago. Worked great. Only used a couple times but ran my large home with ease. On Monday of this week I decided to start it just to exercise it. It would not start. Long story short , I called Westinghouse service Monday, had the new switch Thursday, and I am up and running.

I bought this 9500 watt, dual fuel generator for power during hurricane power outages. I need to be able to reliably power my medical equipment, well pumps and water heaters as well as general power for lighting, etc. I have had great experience with reliability of Westinghouse products over many years and expect to find the same with this product. The dual fuel feature will be most helpful since gas can be difficult to find for many days after a hurricane so propane can be a fill in to keep things going.

I have been researching generators for awhile, the WGen9500DF generator has always been at the top of the reviews and had really nice features. The 50 amp out is one feature I required. Its running time on gas is one of the longest in its group. The generators ability to switch to propane is a great advantage and propane is easier to store.The machine is well built and pretty quiet. I would highly recommend this generator

This is one of the best generators I’ve ever had! I’m going to get a 100lb propane tank and be able to run it for a couple of days and not having to worry about the propane ever going bad on me! Thanks Westinghouse for making a great product that I know will last me probably the rest of my life!
