We purchased this for back up since we live in the country. Our first generator and are pleased thus far. A little on the noisier side but when one "needs" power for the given circumstance, noise wont necessarily be a factor. I believe one YouTuber rated this at 74 decibels. The wheels were easy to install as well as the 2 feet. The pop-up handle is a nice feature and allow me to move the unit with ease across our farm terrain. Running the unit was a cinch. Just be sure to turn off your fuel valve and allow it to use up the balance of the fuel in the line/carb so that things don't get gummed up. Front control panel is easy to navigate. Buttons seem solid. Electric start is a welcomed feature! One thing I would have changed is the location of the gas cap. I would have put the cap at one end or the other so that it makes a little easier to pour in. All in all, a great product for the money and we are very happy with our purchase!

The derecho hit on 8/10/20 destroying so much of the power grid in Eastern Iowa. My daughter has this model and ordered one immediatedly for us. Delivery was dellayed and did not occur until a few days after power was restored. However, we plan to install a transfer switch before winter because of ice storms that disrupt power. We borrowed a small generator for a few days but this one will provide three times the power. Even without the transfer switch there are four regular plugins so more options to run more than just the freezer and refrigerator. It is an impressive machine. Assembly was easy and instructions for the novice were very clear and detailed. We have immediate reassurance should a storm hit again that we have a generator and two cans of gas to keep the important applicances running and potentially more after the transfer switch is installed.

We just had a huge storm that knocked out power for 3 days. I decided I am not going through that again. I did a bunch of research and for the price point this is the best option for a lot of power 9500 - 12500 watts. Ill be able to run most everything should we lose power again. Its a solid unit and setup up to run was a matter of 30 minutes.

Hurricanes and winter storms can leave us without electric service—sometimes for days. I had an electrician install a simple connector to provide me an input that allows me to power my 2300 sq ft house all the lights, tv, even the central A/C (but not the furnace.) And because it runs on gas or propane, I can borrow the tank from my gas grill if the gas stations can’t pump gas because their powers out.

This is my first ever portable generator, and am very impressed with how easy it is to set up and use. Rock solid construction, starts right up, runs well. It is a bit on the loud side, but that's to be expected. I really like that this model has dual fuel options, it can run on gasoline or propane. I find it a lot easier to store propane that gasoline, but it's great to have the gasoline option in a pinch.

Living in NH with the weather always changing and winters can be brutal plus all the snow and ice, wind it will be such a blessing to stay in the house and just push the remote. Our old generator was terribly hard to get going never went smooth with this generator is a godsend for people like us who are getting a wee bit older.

Purchased product a week ago and began putting it together today. Was impressed with the packaging of the product and the easy to follow instructions to assemble it. I usually have difficulty assembling items but this was nicely described and diagramed. It took approximately 30 minutes to unpack and assemble the wheels and “boots”. Looking forward to using it when needed. Very pleased.

We bought this after several power outages in our area. My wife was tired of throwing perishable food away so we did research on generators. This one fit our needs. We haven't had a need for it yet but we did a test run and it is very simple to operate!

I have been shopping for a generator for a couple of months and I am happy I purchased the WGen9500DF Generator. I required a 50-amp plug, a 3-year warranty, dual fuel option, a ground port, and wireless start. It came with everything to get it running, oil and a charged battery. With 9,500 running watts it should power everything in our house. I am looking forward to trying it out.

Shipping was a little late, but no fault of anyone really. Bad weather and limited everything during these times. Arrived in 3 weeks tho, so very satisfied. No damage to the box and it was brand new, everything was there. Love the dual fuel capabilities, and the ease of putting together right out of the box. Everything is included to get her up and running within 30-45 minutes. Remote, push button, and recoil start are solid. Very long range on the FOB. The capacity and looks of this machine are really nice. Learn your power management loads to size to whatever your needs are. This can power my 1800 SQFT home and then some. What I did to break her in was: Inspected the entire machine for factory inefficiencies. Did not find a single thing wrong with it. Then I did 3 oil changes with conventional motor oil. 1 hour run time between each oil change with 20 minutes cool down between each oil change. READ THE MANUAL that comes in the box. Lots of valuable information in there, written by the experts. After the 3rd oil change I switched over to the synthetic oil for extreme cold/hot temperatures. Then I powered up some loads to see how she would do. Handled everything (heaters, power tools, etc) with no issues whatsoever. Very happy with my Westinghouse generator purchase! Well built and very rugged.
