I love the size, it is perfect for 2 dozen cookies! I always have extras for when the kids need to take sweet treat to share at school! The lid is secured tight I don't worry about accidents. They are also dishwasher safe, always a plus in my household!

Having previously purchased a Rubbermaid product with the same name I was expecting the same quality. These are the lowest of quality and it seems deliberately deceptive. I've had more uses out of containers that came free with sliced turkey inside. I'm so disgusted in this purchase I just think people should know that they last about 3 uses without a drop and 0-1 use if you drop them. The old version was thick and lasted MUCH longer.

As a student taking meals on the go is very important to me as long lectures make getting a bite from off campus difficult, not to mention the cost of doing so. I recently bought these TakeAlongs on the premise that they could be used to store liquids and were able to be used in the microwave. Well...have to say that neither claim is true! First and foremost the product leaked tomato sauce, secondly upon being placed in the microwave for no more than 1 minute the stability of the product was clearly altered so much so that upon taking it out of the microwave you could have crushed it without effort! I was able to save my food.. what was left after leaking by using a cup in the cafeteria but the container is shot! I chose Rubbermaid because it is a name growing up my parents said meant quality... apparently that no longer holds true!

What have you done??? The old style of takealongs was perfect. The lid and container were both durable ane practicle. I do alot of cookie baking and the old containers were perfect for storage and stacking. I would be happy to spend more for this product in its older design if you would bring it back. That container was why I no longer bought ziplock or glad storage products. I'm sorry to say that this new design puts you several steps below what i expect from rubbermaid.

I like how they com in a variety of sizes,so I can easily find something to store my leftovers in.The lid has a good seal once in place and I don't have to worry about leaking.I even dropped it and it remained closed.That was a shock! I too have had trouble with cracking,but it's to be expected and at the price they sell...it's pretty affordable to replace.No product is ever 100% perfect and there will be flaws,but in my opinion this is one of the best choices out there.I'm definitely a fan and will continue to buy them!

I have had these containers for a few months now, and they have met my expectations. First of all, I love how the lids fit secure and the same size lid fits different bottoms. Square shape fits in fridge better than round. I personally hand wash my containers so I can't comment on dishwasher use. Most of the negative reviews are from user error. Common sense is that you don't pop popcorn in ANY plastic container! Really!? Plastic also gets hard in the freezer. I mean sheesh...it's frozen. Let it sit out on the counter a few minutes, then remove the lid gently. Treat your stuff right, it will last longer. I know these are inexpensive and disposable, but with a little TLC they will serve you better.

I LOVE these! They are a must have for all areas of my home. They are prefect for taking snacks on the go or packing in lunch boxes. They do a great job for organizing small pins, bolts, nuts, spices, paperclips etc. in the garage, kitchen, office etc. The screw top keeps things like sauces locked in but aren't too hard for my 4 and 6 year old to open up. The walls of these are thicker and can take a good fall or even been stepped on. These have so many uses in my house. They are on the small side but for me they are prefect. Though, I can see even MORE uses for these if they were in a larger size!

I received a larger set than the one displayed as a gift, as it also had a huge tub and a couple of other sizes. I really like the entire set, though I've only used 1/3 of it at this point. My favorite are the twist and seal cups, as I never feel like my salad dressing is going to spill in my bag. They've held up to microwaving and refrigeration, though I probably wouldn't put them in the freezer. And the ones I've used have been in the dishwasher a few times each, and I haven't found any issues. My only complaint is that one of the square containers stained from microwaving chili, but I feel like that happens with all of my other containers too.

I Love to buy TakeAlongs Sets. RubberMaid makes all the sizes I need and use everyday, whether it is to carry in my lunch bag or store leftovers in at home. I also like that I have no problem getting the lids on and off and have even dropped them on the floor and still the lid did not come off, Thank goodness for Rubbermaid TakeAlongs. They sure make my life simpler.

I have tons of small storage containers. However, I found that they leaked if I used them for liquids so I was thrilled to see this product on the shelf. Unfortunately, this product is no better than any other container with the standard "snap on" lid. I hoped I had a bad one or perhaps I had improperly closed the lid, but each container has leaked each day I've used them. (Thankfully, I'm a pessimist and continued to put the container inside a zip top bag.)
