I just had a family get together at my house over the weekend and these were perfect for the left over food we had. And also great for the food everyone took home with them. I highly recommend these. They are perfect for all your needs!!

I have had these containers for a few months now, and they have met my expectations. First of all, I love how the lids fit secure and the same size lid fits different bottoms. Square shape fits in fridge better than round. I personally hand wash my containers so I can't comment on dishwasher use. Most of the negative reviews are from user error. Common sense is that you don't pop popcorn in ANY plastic container! Really!? Plastic also gets hard in the freezer. I mean sheesh...it's frozen. Let it sit out on the counter a few minutes, then remove the lid gently. Treat your stuff right, it will last longer. I know these are inexpensive and disposable, but with a little TLC they will serve you better.

My sister used one of these to send me home with the next day's dinner. I liked it, and bought two sets. So far, five of the containers and three of the lids have chipped off the edges, so there is no tight seal. Trey are useless now, and my meal plans are kaput.

the sizes of these are good and the convenience of them for left overs is nice but only for solid foods. you can't put liquid in them at all because god forbid you tilt it on its side slightly, it will start leaking. I even had one that came slightly cracked at the bottom.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love using the Rubbermaid TakeAlongs Food Storage containers for storing leftovers and packing lunches. The 10-piece set has plenty of small and medium sized bowls. They are slightly redesigned since we bought some a long time ago and the newer design feels stronger and more durable. The smaller containers fit perfectly in my son's small-ish luncbox, and are great for me to take when I'm out running errands or working.

I Love to buy TakeAlongs Sets. RubberMaid makes all the sizes I need and use everyday, whether it is to carry in my lunch bag or store leftovers in at home. I also like that I have no problem getting the lids on and off and have even dropped them on the floor and still the lid did not come off, Thank goodness for Rubbermaid TakeAlongs. They sure make my life simpler.

I am not sure if I can recommend the new take a longs. While I understand they are meant to be disposable, I had a couple of the smaller containers crack after just a couple of uses. I do like all the sizes, and they are good for kids lunches, just could be a little stronger in my opinion.

I have used these quite a bit for storage, freezing and reheating in the microwave. Their durability for what they are is fine. The complaint I have with them are the smell. They have a strange, plastic odor to them and imparts that to the food you store in them. I am looking to buy some of the premier line to replace the ones I have. For short term storage of dry items like cereals, grains, cookies, pasta, etc... these are fine but I wouldn't recommend them for any other food purpose unless you like the plastic taste.

I so enjoy using the take-alongs for several reasons. I use them for left overs - then from the fridge to the lunch boxes. Even though the containers are disposable, I use them over and over. The products are very durable. I also like being able to view the contents without opening the lids. And, the red lids match my kitchen!! Love Rubbermaid products.

I have a lot of these take alongs and really like them. They are long lasting and the sizes seem to fit our needs. The only negative is that the insides of the containers get etched, maybe from microwaving but I usually set aside a few just for that purpose and do not microwave the others. The lids are easy on/off and do not leak.
