I was so excited to see rubbermaid carried larger sizes in takealong containers. I love to bake and they are just the perfect size for my homemade rolls and chocolate chip cookies. The colors are great also. The colors are what drew me and there was a bonus small round container when I bought mine. I will be purchasing these for my 2 daughters and daughter- in-law for Christmas presents. I also saw some great new items online.

Rubbermaid is known for their quality products, and I was expecting this same quality when buying the Twist and Seal containers. Boy was I disappointed. Though lovely to look at (far more aesthetically pleasing than its happy competitor), when it came to function it was a dud. The first time it happened, I dismissed it as a fluke and threw that one container away, but it kept happening...batch after batch of fruit cocktail, spinach juice, and other wet foods were leaking all over the rest of my lunch. Finally, I had enough and now only use the set as regular leftover storage in my refridgerator, ever mindful of the fact that I cannot tip the containers over.

Several months ago we replaced all of our haphazard, non-matching food storage containers and bought this 64 piece set to tidy our cupboard. Unfortunately, several months later all of the lids are tearing and breaking. at first, we thought it was a fluke and threw several of the lids away. Now it is apparent that almost every lid has some kind of crack or the beginning of a breakage. I have emailed Rubbermaid Customer service about a week and a half ago and I have not received a response. Also, I tried to attach a photo in this very review and suspiciously “an error has occurred”...I will attempt again

I had the original Take Alongs for freezing cookies (I use to make around 2,000 for Christmas each year). Over the years I have lost them...I bought more about a month ago...much more cheaply made the and the lids do not seal. I was very disappointed, but have to transport 800 cookies for my nephews graduation. I will use freezer bags inside of the containers. Today I bought 2 of the store brand and they were much better...the lids snap shut, so the cookies won't go stale so fast. Unfortunately I had already bought about 20 of the Rubbermaid containers. I won't be spending my money on those anymore....Sad, they use to be top of the line.

Great set of containers

The lids did not fit the container! I bought them to freeze Christmas cookies but would up putting in my recycle bin! I have bought your products in this size previously because they fit my freezer. The lids were always hard to completely seal but the lids fit on.

The 1.2 cup containers are the perfect size for various picnics and leftovers and, most importantly, the kids' lunches. We pack snacks, fruit, cut veggies and cereal into these. The problem is that they crack, sometimes after just a couple of uses. I wash them on the top rack of the dishwasher, and they come out badly cracked. Other brands don't have a comparable product, so I keep buying these, but now I'm on round 4, and it's just ridiculous.

Lids do not stay on at all. waste of time and money. was gonna use for the holidays and glad I found out before I used them.

NOT microwavable. I used this to prop up some popcorn in the microwave and the entire bottom melted off.
