The size was just right and I loved the screw on tops......the only problem is that they say they have leak proof lids and they do not. If they tip over in your cooler they will leak. I took 5 of them to work with me. When I noticed the bottom of my cooler had liquid on it I did an experiment to see which container had leaked....I filled them all with water and laid them on their sides on paper towels. When I checked them in 15 minutes I found they had ALL leaked!!!! NOT A GOOD PRODUCT AT ALL! DO THEY NOT CHECK THEM TO SEE IF THEIR CLAIM IS TRUE???? I did such a simple test and they all failed miserably!

I've bought these a couple of times from Sam's Club. The second one's I bought are not very durable. Lids crack very easy. They really only take a couple of uses before they need to be thrown away. I've had cheap grocery store containers that I've used for months and even frozen that last longer. Disappointed in the quality. Expected more from Rubbermaid. Luckily they were not too expensive and you get a large container.

Picked a few of these up right before Christmas and they came in so handy during the holidays for carrying food to parties. I really liked that they were sturdy and sealed well. Plus at such a low price I didn't have to worry about having to keep up with them like I do my more expensive food storage containers.

I bought two of the 4 packs of this item to use in my classroom to make butter. The students simply shook the container that was 1/2 filled with heavy cream. Much to my surprise 4 of the 8 containers cracked in various places. While I was happy that the lids stayed on and there was no leakage from the lid. I am very disappointed in the quality.

I bought a TakeAlong Set at Sams Club, when I opened the box, I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the containers. They should be sold as disposable containers! The material is VERY THIN and I can't imagine them lasting more the 2 or 3 uses. They also look like they would crack very easily in a freezer. This isn't the Rubbermaid I used to know! I am returning them back to Sams Club today!
