[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tape is great. Once it's is in place it is not moving. I have used other tape where it just unsticks for no reason. This tape sticks tight and really gets the job done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I volunteer to evaluate products for 3M,and the company recently sent me a free sample of Scotch Box Lock shipping Packaging Tape. I love that the part that you cutoff the tape with is upward and not down like normal packaging tape.It makes it easier to get the amount I need.I really did need only one strip to seal a package and whenever I used it it did mot sliver,split or tear.It is not a large roll of tape but since I needed only one strip to seal.It was the right amount.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Scotch Box Lock Packaging tape from 3M. It works very well and even great for big boxes. IT came right on time as I'm packing to move. I ised one strip to form each a crisscross pattern On my boxes. The dispenser is easy to use and the tape does not wobble in the dispenser. I like the tape holder that keeps the tape from sticking to the roll. There's a plastic piece on the dispenser that I actually used to hold onto my hand for easier and faster taping. This scotch tape and it's dispenser made my packaging chore go by faster and better. I recommend it.

Used 2/3 of the tape and then the tape starts tearing and I have to run the roll out until it is the width of the roll to use it (and cut off the narrow part).Then it did it again, i.e. somehow got a narrow width, have to run it out ....I am going to throw the rest of the roll out.

Handle is ok and gets the tape off well, so that you are not sitting there trying to get the tape unattached from the roll to use. Overall, good product but not super special. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Scotch Box Lock Packaging tape from 3M for an honest review. I really like the design of the dispenser. It is a durable plastic that you can apply pressure to as you put the tape to seal the box. Once you start the beginning of the roll you slide t through the 2 tabs so you will never lose the end. Place the beginning of the tape onto the box where you wish to begin and pull on the dispenser across the top of the box until you reach where you want to end. Gently press the gripped area on the side of the dispenser and twist to cut the tape easily and still keeping the end of the tape securely in the tabs so you no longer have to search the entire roll for the end of the tape. You only need to use one strip across the top and bottom of the box for security. No need to add extra rows because this tape is super sticky!! I would absolutely recommend this to friends and family especially if you are one to mail out boxes around holiday time. You get quite a bit of tape on the roll too so it will last for quite a few boxes. Will have to try this out on my moving boxes when I pack up because it worked excellent for the package I mailed to California!! Super easy to use!!

This tape is awesome. It sticks great and seals up the boxes well. You dont have to worry about the bottom giving out of the box with this stuff. It dispenses well too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Scotch Box Lock Packaging Tape is very nice to use. I use mine for projects as well as mailing and shipping items. The design of the handle makes it easy to tape and cut without messing up the tape. It tapes quickly but relatively quietly. It is so easy. The tape itself is sturdy and durable and has really good adhesive. Best part is that when you pull the tape, the whole thing comes and it doesn't split into pieces or leave a piece stuck to the roll and you only have a tiny sliver pulled out. Just pull the tape out and squeeze the sides when ready to cut it. The blades are super sharp too so be careful. I also used it to laminate one of my kids play business cards she made. It also stuck pretty well to our walls to hang a paper up. I definitely recommend trying. So much easier than other packaging tape dispensers I have tried. 3M sent me a roll of this tape for testing purposes but the opinions here are based on my own experiences.
