Had a few AC's over time and when it was time to replace I tried checking out the Windmill site.Picked out one that looked good and small for a NYC apartment with and was fair priced.When we got it, getting it into the window was super easy, and it looked great but let's turn it on....When this was going on NYC was in the middle of a heatwave, so we got it just in time, and once we turned it on we wore pleasantly surprised at how quiet it was and even better, during a heatwave how fast we wore cool and comfortable.So if you're thinking of getting a Windmill from me it's an easy “YES!”

This window unit has been a lifesaver in an old house without AC. I love the automatic settings on the app so that I can turn it off or on remotely and save on energy costs when I'm not there. I like using the fan setting at times overnight for some white noise as well. It was easy to install by myself as well

Before purchasing the Windmill AC Unit, I tried a more established brand and ended up returning it within two weeks—it was loud, difficult to use, and barely made a difference in the room's temperature. As soon as I installed the Windmill, the difference was immediate. The air felt fresher, the sound level is perfect (more like subtle white noise than an AC unit), and the sleek design fits seamlessly into my space.The app is also incredibly user-friendly, which makes controlling everything easy. I would choose this unit again and again over other brands. My only suggestion would be to offer additional window insulation or panel sizes—my window is unusually wide, so I had to DIY and cut extra insulation to make it work.Aside from that minor issue, I absolutely love this AC, and the customer service team has been amazing. 10/10 would recommend.

I purchased not just one but two Windmill air conditioners. After my first purchase of a 12K BTU WhisperTech for my living room, I followed with an additional purchase of a 10K BTU WhisperTech for my bedroom. They are super efficient and oh so quiet. Also they are so good looking too. So happy with my purchases. Highly recommended.

We love Windmill so much, we retired our perfectly good Frigidaire air conditioner for our kids' room because we wanted something quieter, more intuitive and energy efficient after we bought our fist Windmill for our dining room several years ago and it cooled down the whole house. Saving for the next one!

I love my Windmill AC. It looks so much nicer than most A/C's, it can be co trolled by my phone, and it cools quickly! The only down side is that it would vibrate at certain points when running, but thst was easily rectified by placing a wedge in the window (I used a piece of wood cut to size). It gave enough pressure on the window to stop the rattle.

I purchased 2 WhisperTech ACs for my small NYC apartment after seeing how well the unit worked in my daughter's studio apartment. I am very happy with the units. They are quiet and I really like that they don't blow air out the front of the unit, but from the top! My bedroom unit is fairly close to my bed and I don't have the problem of feeling the cold air while I am sleeping. This is such a welcome change to the older unit I had that was loud and blowing constanting in my face! And in living room, there is no problem watching TV or listening to music because the AC makes only the slightest of sounds while on. Customoer service is also top notch. I was having an issue with the charcoal filters and my problem was quickly resolved. The employees are very responsive and helpful.

The Windmill is the best window AC unit I've ever had. It looks great, is easy to maintain, has a good mobile app to control it remotely(not required, but useful), is easy to maintain, relatively quiet, and my favorite feature is that it blows cold air up, not out, so placing it in a window near a chair, seat, bed, etc. is much more comfortable than traditional window units. If you need a window AC, I'm not sure there is a better one on the market!

We purchased the windmill air conditioner for our toddler's bedroom. The air conditioner is exceptionally quiet, which significantly contributes to the amount of sleep she gets throughout the night. It's very convenient that we can leave it hanging on the window during the winter months, which makes my life easier since I don't have to take it down every year.
