I purchased this window air conditioner because my husband and I like to keep our bedroom cold at night for sleeping but I didn't want to waste energy cooling down and heating up our whole house. This was the perfect solution – easy to install without any special equipment and way quieter than any other window air conditioner I've ever used. We went with one just a little more powerful than we needed for our space because we wanted the quieter motor and I'm happy with our choice. I also like that it will be easy to take with us to another house if we move again since it is not a permanent installation.

My ac unit from Amazon stopped working in the middle of a heat wave so I bit the bullet and spent the money on this. I've only been using it for one summer but it's been worth every penny so far, it's nice and quiet and cools my apt way better than the old unit ever did. I really love being able to control it from my phone and turning it on before I arrive home. I'm really hoping it lasts years since it was so expensive 🤞🏼

I've been using windmill ACs for several years now, and a major plus is that I can control the unit via the phone app even when I'm not home. Not only does it work well, the design of the AC looks beautiful in my apartment. I used the original model (6k BTU) for 3 years, but after moving last year I decided to get the new WhisperTech model (8k BTU) and am super impressed with how much quietier it is and how quickly it cools my home. The customer support has always been fantastic as well!

I have had my windmill AC for 3 years now. It's the best window unit I've ever used. It's pretty quiet & very easy to clean. I love that the air blows up at an angle so I can still have things in front of it, but also because I really hate when the air blows straight on me. That's probably my favorite thing.

I purchased 2 units. I have a 2 story home. I live in the Pacific Northwest so summers can get toasty and if you have never been up this way... 85% of the homes DO NOT have central ACI did some research and when I saw Windmill's product I was on board from the the get go. From the sleek design and size and the options to customize the looks.To my surprise the units come with their installation kit and just like the box says... installation was a Breeze! So if you are on the fence on getting a window unit... I highly suggest this product. Support small business!

This AC is great! It is so quiet, perfect for my living room. I really appreciate being able to control the unit on the app on my phone so I can make adjustments for my dog or turn it back on before I get back from a trip so my apartment is cool by the time I get home. This along with my air purifier were well made purchases from Windmill.

Looked into several different ACs for my apartment and Windmill was the cleanest looking and most convenient. The app is simple to use and I love being able to turn it on remotely. Be sure to purchase the correct AC BTU for your space though. I was concerned the temperature censor wasn't reading accurately. But that was my fault given I was trying to cool a large space with a low BTU. Windmill customer service was very helpful in trying to help me regardless.

I have purchased 4 units for my home and an air purifier. All are aesthetically pleasing and efficient. They are quiet, sleek and keep our home comfortable! Being able to use the app before getting home has been key, as I don't need to waste electricity keeping them on all day. I have recommended to family members and friends.

Living in Manhattan, we have always had in-window air-conditioning that has worked to varying degrees of success from other brands. Windmills AC unit worked as expected, and the integrated app was extremely useful and user-friendly. It wasn't hard to install by myself. We ended up getting a second for our spare room shortly after testing the first. Living through the extreme weather of New York didn't feel like a challenge at all. Highly recommend. Oh, also, their customer service is phenomenal in my experience. There was an issue with our second unit, but once I shared the video of the noise it was making, they rushed shipped a replacement. Tryuely felt like they cared about their brand.
