We ordered three Windmill window units for our new NYC apartment (living room, master bedroom, kid's room) and we are so happy! Our super installed them so can't speak first hand to ease of installation but it didn't take him too long to do all three. The product looks sleek and way nicer than the (traditional, old, uggo) units we had removed. We love the app functionality and the ability to share control among household members.

We loved our first Windmill but sadly, our windmill had a malfunction just a month or two after purchasing it. When when we reached out to the company, they immediately helped us to troubleshoot the issue and when that didn't work, they sent a replacement of the unit at no cost to us. The new windmill is working great and looks fabulous!

My first windmill had an issue with the temperature setting. After a month and a half after installation, the temp. on the unit would drop to 60 degrees and I could not raise it up with the phone app, remote or using the control on the unit. I contacted support and they responded within a few hours . We tried several steps to resolve the issue with no luck. Windmill then sent me a replacement unit and informed me to keep the old unit. Excellent support and response Windmill!!.

I received an aircondition that actually was smoking which anything can happen in transit or just a mechanical issue .reaching out to windmill customer service they were sincerely compassionate and apologetic and sent a a brand new unit and offered to have the defected one picked up eddy from windmill customer service is quick to respond and takes care of the customer although the ac was defected customer service handle it professionally and fast

For most people an AC is an AC. I find that the Windmill 350sf AC has all of the modern features I want and a pleasing design. But my favorite thing about purchasing from Windmill directly through their website is that they care. I had two issues that most people would typically describe as a negative experience, but the way they handled it was impressive. I felt like l was dealing with a person that cared about their job and their company. Their attention, attitude and response exceeded my expectations. I don’t know of a better company to do business with. The installation kit is one of the best I’ve seen. The unit was the best fitting window ac I’ve used. The pieces locked in better and the hardware was complete. If you’ve installed window AC’s before, you will appreciate how great this unit is. The solid, foam, trim panels that cover accordion baffles on the side of the unit can be trimmed (with the included scissors) for a sleek look, light diffusing, insulated zone. The rails for the accordion baffles have measurements on them so you know where to trim them. The app is great, the programming offers you many ways to control your cooling. It lets you see power consumption, operate it manually or pick from a variety of schedules. I’m happy to support Windmill and will share this experience with my friends. —- My only suggestion is to make the remote magnetic so that it can stick to the side of the case.

I could not be happier with the windmill product. The aesthetic most importantly and smooth look was of particular importance being that I have never had an air conditioner that was not an eye sore. I was worried that because the windmill was so sleek that it would not be as powerful and effective and I could not have been more wrong! Not only does it work super effectively being able to control it from my phone is so convenient. The windmill is also extremely quiet which provides an additional level of being that best ac unit ever! I am not the most tech savvy person and I have found the product to be super easy to use and understand the mechanics of. The customer service team was also extremely helpful with any questions I had. I will be recommending the windmill to everyone I know to keep cool this summer!!!

I purchased the 6k unit and found that the Wi-Fi would not work at all. thought I'd wasted the extra I paid for this unit based on that feature. But I was wrong. a few chats with customer service, and they sent out a new unit at their expense! and showed me a place to take my old one to recycle it. that was helpful. as I had the old one also to get rid of. All good things to say about the new unit, and the customer service!

Purchased this to replace a cheaper brand I’ve had for a few years in my bedroom. It was easy to install and operate. I’ve noticed a huge difference and improvement in how quickly the room is cooled and maintained on the auto feature. Previous air conditioner never seemed to shut off! I live in an old farmhouse without much insulation so the temp in my bedroom can hit 90 pretty quickly on hot days. The Windmill gets the room cooled quickly and maintains that temp. Finally, I can sleep comfortably!

A good product with even better customer service! I love that it's a smart unit so I can integrate it with my smart home scheduling. I think there are some internal engineering design flaws that need to be worked out. But when something failed, they stepped up and replaced the unit for free after a lengthy troubleshooting process to try and fix it first. But I will implement the fix on the unit before I even plug it in and hopefully we won't have any more problems. It is a clean look for the installation. Way better than every other window unit out there. My daughter loves the look. PS. It comes with a pair of scissors to cut the weather stripping too!

I didn't expect much when I sent the video of my AC unit malfunctioning, but Maggie sent my issue off for resolution. Within 24 hours I received a response and my unit was replaced and shipped to me. I did not expect that this would be resolved this quickly and efficiently. I appreciate the friendly customer service that was provided.
