Quality Bose Product as always!

I have been extremely impressed with the quality and performance of the new Bose Quiet Comfort Noise Cancelling Earbuds. The earbuds are incredibly lightweight and comfortable, perfect for long listening sessions. The sound quality, with its rich, clear audio, deep bass, and crisp highs, truly immerses you in your music, making every listening session engaging and enjoyable. One minor drawback I encountered initially was with the touch controls, which, due to their sensitivity, required some time to get used to. However, with patience and practice, I found them to be quite intuitive and responsive. Their adaptability to my touch made me appreciate their design even more. Once I got the hang of it, the touch controls became a non-issue. Overall, I am delighted with the Bose Quiet Comfort Noise Cancelling Earbuds. In comparison to other earbuds I've tried, these stand out for their lightweight comfort and exceptional sound quality. I recommend them to anyone in the market for high-quality, comfortable, and great-sounding earbuds.

Ear Buds save the day

I have always used my Bose head phones, inside and out side. However when out side the head phones only go over certain hats that I need to wear, due to sun restrictions. I had baught my grandson a pair of ear buds, he loves them. SO I decided to try a pair as I am outside often. The Bose Ear Buds are excellent, light weight, great sound (had no doubt). Thank you Respectfully Joe Mansfield Kyoshii

Personalized Comfort: A Review of QCE

I recently got a pair of wireless earbuds that come with a dedicated application, and I must say, I am absolutely delighted with my experience so far. The app allows for a high level of personalization, enabling me to configure the earbuds to suit my preferences. One of the standout features is the ability to change the actions of the left and right earbud, adding an extra layer of convenience that I truly appreciate. Additionally, the app provides a clear indication of the battery levels of each earbud. These earbuds have amazing touch controls. Very responsive, making it easy to manage music and calls. However I did run across a little quirk when doing some activities accidentally my hand would touch earbuds which in turn stops music. It would be great if an option is provided that could be enabled/disabled, which would allow one to shut off the touch controls for specific activities. Comfort is another strong point for these earbuds. I have always struggled with earbuds that either don’t stay in place or cause discomfort after prolonged use. To my surprise, these earbuds are incredibly lightweight and comfortable. The rubber piece around the earbud ensures a nice fit and I don't have to worry about them falling out while moving around. I can wear them for extended periods without any discomfort, which is a huge plus. On a positive note, the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature, which really cuts down the background noise, allowing me to listen to music or podcasts with clarity. In summary, these wireless earbuds offers a fantastic blend of comfort and customization, coupled with remarkably well-functioning active noise cancellation. Admittedly, there are a few features touching on call quality and a couple of issues with touch controls that indeed need some time for improvement, but I would go ahead and highly recommend them for anyone looking for a reliable and comfortable audio solution.

Worth the money

These are awesome earbuds. The comfort and sound is beyond what I thought they would be. For almost the same price as AirPods, these are a way better product. As for the battery life, they last days without recharging. I bought a pair for my daughter who was always about AirPods, and she loves the battery life and sound quality of these over the AirPods.

Great Everyday Use Earbuds!

What a great product! I have owned multiple Bose Earbuds, including the QuietComfort Earbuds II and QuietComfort Ultra. The new QuietComfort Earbuds (2nd Gen) are just fantastic. This might sound odd, but they feel so light on the ears that I can wear them for hours without any discomfort. Bose products always have the best sound, but I am truly impressed with the audio quality of this product. I love that it comes with an adjustable EQ on the QCE app. I listen to a lot of music, but I have also been using these earbuds to listen to podcasts and watch live TV on my phone. They are incredibly easy to connect and use. I am pleased that they come with voice commands, and I am looking forward to testing this feature more in the next few days. Additionally, these earbuds are water and sweat resistant, making them perfect for my workouts. Although I miss the Immersion feature, the Quiet and Aware modes work flawlessly. The Quiet mode is especially effective in my chatty workroom of about 40 colleagues. I often keep the earbuds on even when I’m not listening to anything, just for the noise-canceling feature, and they do not bother me at all. I use different-sized ear tips for each ear, and they fit well on my oddly-sized ears. The battery life is relentless; it just lasts forever. I think I have only charged them twice so far because of how long the battery lasts. These earbuds, at their given price point, are perfect for everyday use but still pack the punch of high-quality earbuds in terms of sound, performance, noise cancellation, and comfort.

Worst ANC, app won't connect, poor customization

Admittedly, I am reviewing as a former Bose enthusiast and am comparing to their previous earbuds so I had high hopes. 1) The ANC is actually worse than all of their previous earbuds, I have tried them all. They are still ok but there is a lot more background sound (yes I tried the different tips, the ones that helped a little made the ANC fluctuate more) 2) The app fails to connect to the product. I was able to connect it on my phone and change the settings but now when it connects to my phone right next to me and click on the product in the QCE app it says it can't connect and that the product should be in range. 3) The plastic on the product and case are cheap 4) Bose removed essential features like the ability to turn off in ear detection and the voice prompts (I turn them off and she still speaks). 5) The ANC will randomly go off while in my ears. Now I can't even connect to the app to change the settings even if there was a setting. It may have to do with in ear detection going haywire but still. I have never had this issue from their other products. 6) I couldn't test the long battery life, which is why I wanted them, because the ANC kept turning off. I guess they have to go back to Bose

Great sound, really lousy software

I would give these 5 stars for the sound quality...but the Bose software package is abominable so I'll be taking them back. Here's just some of the issues I had. The charging case has a single LED to indicate charge level, and it's amber almost all the time, even after a full charge and very limited use. The SW does not show the case charge level - a terrible and cheap oversight. The voice control works about 50% of the time (maybe more if you yell loudly), and when I first installed the SW the voice control would announce it was turning off every few minutes. After reinstalling the SW I had to make sure battery optimization was off for the app. About 50% of the time I got these out to use I would end up with only one bud connecting...I would have to reinsert the dead bud back in the case and take it back out, really annoying! Also most of the time the BOSE SW would not auto connect when I got the buds out - I would have to kill the app and restart it. It's a shame they botched the SW because the buds sound pretty good.

Hi Mike, good to hear you love the audio quality of your QuietComfort Earbuds! The amber LED will come up when the case is charged from 80% to 30%, so this would seem to be normal. For voice control, it's best to ensure your earbuds are worn with the Bose logo pointing at your mouth or chin - this will ensure the best voice pickup. If experiencing connectivity issues in one earbud, re-syncing the buds with the case is indeed the first thing to try, so well done for doing that. You can also try a reset, as per the following steps: https://support.bose.com/s/display-articles?productId=01t8c00000OydAIAAZ&articleId=ka08c000001g6aHAAQ&language=en_US. I hope this information is useful; please contact our support team if further assistance is required. Warm regards, Fiona M. - Bose Customer Support

Also most of the time the BOSE SW would not auto connect when I got the buds out - I would have to kill the app and restart it.

Great Sound, Might Have Been A Lemon Though

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was going to buy new IBuds but at the last second so changed to Bose. I have MANY Bose products. These were a let down out of the box. They sound great but the left bud wasn’t charging unless I took the rubber mount off. After a while I thought I shouldn’t have to do that. Bose was contacted and they are sending me a new pair.

Stellar sound quality and noise cancellation

I’m obsessed with these!! I knew Bose speakers had brilliant audio but WOW these little earbuds blew me away. I am very particular about sound quality, and a few months into ownership, I’m still amazed every time I use them (which is basically everyday). You can practically feel the bass in your ears. Sometimes I feel like the lowest volume is still too loud, but I think that’s a testament to how good the audio is. The noise cancellation is *chefs kiss*. I tend to experience sensory overload and these are a great reduction in external sound—I particularly like the ease of switching modes by just pressing on the earbud. Tried these on a full airplane recently with a lot of unhappy tiny humans and they made a world of difference. I do find the earbud touch controls to be incredibly sensitive, especially when lying down (I found my arm or pillow will trigger the mode switch or even turn them off). This could be fixed with an in-app “sleep” mode. Also the Chilled Lilac is stunning.

Earbuds are great, applications are not.

Product is great. Works as advertised. The documentation, packaging, and apps required are terrible. I have downloaded two different apps. I downloaded the Bose app and it took forever to pair with the ear buds. When it does, I click on the earbud name and it directs me to download another app. I downloaded the other app and it takes another eternity to pair and often won't work at all. Really poor experience with the apps.
