My favorite is active, when you turn your head the sound moves with you. I am not sure how Bose did it but it’s amazing. They are also so comfortable, I can wear them all day without issue. They have a good long charge and if you do need to charge them they charge pretty fast. They are worth every penny and I would get them time after time. There is no other set like this.

The kids were very impressed and had already knew that Bose was the number one brand and the best possible listening experience. They are 17, 16 and 13. They were Delighted. The youngest kept remarking she felt like she was at a concert . I bought the ultra open earbuds for safety purposes while they were out riding on their bike scooters etc. I wanted to make sure that they were able to hear signs of danger. As always. Bose is my go to brand and the only brand I would consider buying..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not happy at all with this bose product. Had high hopes as I’ve owned several Bose products in the past but these fall short. Constantly get a cutting in and out sound and had difficulty connecting at first. Sound is just ok for higher price point earbuds and quality is below average.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these in late 2025. I loved the clear sound. The open ear concept I’ve grown to love since I’m on a bicycle a lot and need to be sonically aware. The one thing I thought about was how the buds keep slipping off my ear as I was just moving around my house. Given how easy it was to lose in my home I didn’t want to try them for long outside and end up with one earbud on my ride back. I recommend them if you know you’re just walking or for stationary meetings but not for full blown exercise and similar activities.

I love the different levels of noise canceling, too! They are a must on any trip I take. Always reliable, and never run out of juice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these, returned them, and bought them again. The first purchase I think I expected too much from an open ear earbud. I wanted a more loud, crisp, robust sound. I then bought in ear earbuds. The sound was lovely but my ears are sensitive to moisture. Returned those and decided to give the open earbuds a second chance. I’m glad I did. These are very comfortable and for an open earbud they sound pretty darn good. One complaint: the right earbud sometimes has issues charging. Not sure why it does this. It’s usually after I haven’t used them for a prolonged period. I have to finesse the earbud into charging. I’m worried I may not be able to charge it at all one day. I thought about a return but they didn’t have a color I liked available. Having said that, returns are super easy- no questions asked. I really like these earbuds.

With the ability to be aware of your surroundings while still immersed in the sound is something not a lot of companies can deliver on but Bose did. Initially I had some issues with the right earbud where it would not turn on but was later resolved. Overall I would grab another pair.

BOSE has always provided top of the line noise cancelling sound in a variety of styles and these earbuds meets their high standards. I am a frequent flyer (+30 times per year) and could not imaging flying without these earbuds. While immersed in the noise cancelling mode the sound is of the highest quality and the plane noises do not get through. I have become so enamored with this product I've forgotten how loud planes can be.
