They fit comfortably in one's ear. The sound is sharp and noise cancellation is awesome. They are very sensitive to light touch so you have to make sure you don't try to adjust them or light ly touch them while you are on a call. All in all they are wonderful and worth the investment.

I love using the old Bose QC21, the lined earphones. I bought several pairs and still keeping one as the spare. Bose Ultra Open finally beats it. The new pairs have superior sound stage and really comfortable to wear. I had so many pairs of headphones, earphones, this one is my favorite. I even wear them on the plane.

Never thought I would like or even have an interest in open ear earbuds, I was all about noise, cancellation. However, I am so incredibly pleased with my open ultra earbuds that I’m sorry I did not get some sooner. Comfort, clarity, and versatility. And of course, Bose quality that is unmatched.

I purchased these ear buds to use while walking my dog and for the gym. They have been incredibly easy to use and very comfortable. Even with my bigger hands and fingers getting these placed properly was a no brainer. Love the simplistic controls. I don't have to know Morse code in order to adjust volume, move between tracks or adjust spatial settings. Love the quality of the sound. While I haven't hit the limits on the battery life, but based on how much battery was left when I took them off (50%+) I expect they will be juiced for a full day.

The Bose Ultra Open Earbuds deliver exactly the sound quality you would expect from Bose, with deep lows and crisp, clear upper notes. They are also surprisingly comfortable, offering excellent weight distribution and just the right amount of pressure to remain secure without feeling restrictive. Unfortunately, while many customers may find them comfortable enough for all-day use, they may not be a good fit for people with larger ears. There simply is not enough material between the speaker and the portion that wraps around the back of the ear. As a result, the speaker may not sit deeply enough in the ear to produce the best possible sound, which noticeably affects volume and overall audio quality. The wireless charging case works great, but I wish wireless charging were included with the standard case rather than requiring a separate purchase. Overall, these are thoughtfully designed earbuds with impressive sound and comfort, but the fit did not work well for my ears. I will be sticking with the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds, which provide a much richer sound and a better overall fit for me.

They work ok. Sound is not full and my ears are normal size. If i really press and direct the sound its great but just cuffed on the ear it is not so robust. Cuff feels great but the sound just doesn’t get to the ear they way i thought it would. It does what they say and you can hear stuff around you while listening to music when you are walking or doing light stuff but i went biking and did a faster pace for 20 miles and had to have the volume all the way up and it was pretty quiet actually. I am probably going to return because it just doesn’t seem to be worth the hype. I bought the 3 year warranty too so Not cheap. Not my favorite BOSE product and I have many.

I am debating on whether or not to return these earbuds. I love the sound quality. I love the aspect of open ear. I do not enjoy the fit. It hurts my ears after about an hour, and I often have to adjust the earbuds to hear different formats everything else about the earbuds are superior to all the earbuds I’ve ever owned, but the fit is just not working for me. When I need isolation it is not an option with open earbuds. I would really like to have in earbuds that enhance ambient sound with the sound quality that Bose provides only Bose. I want the enhancement of ambient sound because I have a 25% hearing deficit due to my career as a first responder.

I have an issue with them staying connected even though I am sitting right next to my phone. They start to fade out then they snap crackle and pop then the lose connection. After a few seconds they pick back up and work properly for a hile then do the samething. Very Frustrating.

Not so happy with this purchase. When I first opened it up, my first thought was, I love this color!. Then when I grabbed it out, it was light and flimsy, cheaply made. I have 5 different Bose earphone products. This by far is the worst. The noise cancelling isn’t as good as my Apple earbuds. The quality of the buds are crap, you would think because it’s light, that it’d be comfortable, but it isn't. I wore them for two hours and my ears hurt. The color is pretty. But the product wasn’t what I expected out of Bose. Don’t buy these if you have other noise cancelling earbuds.

Wore these brand new earbuds for a run. I made it 3miles before the left earbud stopped working and now either squeals a loud tone or just a thump but no sound before turning all the way off. I’ve now had these not work during runs, the QC version 2 stop working, and the ultra free open ear earbuds stop working from fitness. Bose is not durable enough to last their year warranty and they only replace items once with à refurbished pair that last typically about 100days. Very very disappointed Bose has turned to crap.
