I recently had the pleasure of testing out the Bose Ultra Open Earbuds, and I must say, they exceeded my expectations in every aspect- nothing less can be expected from Bose. I am a single mom in my 40s who works from home. These earbuds helped me with my daily tasks. From taking work meetings to running around doing house chores, not to mention going for walks to get my steps in. From the moment I put in my earbuds, I was immersed in a world of rich, crisp audio that brought my music to life like never before. The sound is clear and well-defined, allowing vocals and instruments to shine through with incredible detail. The immersive sound feature is an experience. The sound follows your head movements. I was able to pick up on instruments and vocals I had not heard from my favorite songs. My one wish with this feature is for the bass to be more prominent. The earphones are comfortable to wear for long periods, thanks to their open design. They fit snugly in my ears and stayed in place even during vigorous activity, making them ideal for workouts or any physical activity. In addition to their impressive sound quality and comfort, the Ultra Open Earbuds are also built to last, with durable construction and reliable connectivity. I used my earbuds for a week without the need to charge them, they definitely have an amazing battery life. Whether I was listening to music at home or on the go, I never experienced any dropouts or interference, ensuring a seamless listening experience every time. Overall, I highly recommend the Ultra Open Earbuds to anyone in search of premium sound quality. With their exceptional audio performance, comfortable fit, and open design, they are truly a standout choice in the crowded world of earphones.

I love the fit and sound when they work, but have had to have them replaced and have had the replacement for a week and the same crackle and connection issues are happening again. I’m afraid I’m going to have to reach out to support here soon for another resolution. I’m very disappointed as these headphones are so amazing when they work properly!

My ENT, ear doctor, recommended I research earbuds that do not fit snugly inside my ear canal, creating a seal and blocking the ear canal instead recommending earbuds that sit on the outer part of my ear. The open-ear design is perfect & incredibly comfortable, allowing me to enjoy my music, books and phone conversations while still staying aware of my surroundings and not irritating my ear canals. The sound quality is fantastic—rich, clear, and immersive, just as you'd expect from Bose. The fit is super comfortable—I forget I’m even wearing them. They stay securely in place, even during workouts, bike rides or long walks, and the build quality feels premium. If you're looking for great audio, all-day comfort, and an open-ear experience, I highly recommend these earbuds!

The sound is really great, but I am disappointed in their ability to stay in my ears. I knew with the Bose name that the sound would be great. I got them based on how they were supposed to stay in one's ears well. I even had a young person help me! If I put the part that is supposed to be on the outside of the ears on the outside, it seems like the speaker part for the inside does not go where it's supposed to. It seems like the on/off button is the part that goes in/near the ear, not the sound end.

Although on release they were pretty sub par issues that I had have been fixed. A bit of a missed opportunity though from Bose I would have made interchangeable back covers for designs and made them a bit of an accessory to wear but they are comfortable and I can hear clearly.

I went ALL IN and wore them for days for many hours. I was amazed at the sound quality and ability to hear the world around me. It's tough to explain but they are loud enough to block out sound but not completely noise-canceling. Running/biking but need to hear cars or horns or at home/work when you have to pay attention to phones or a child. The open earbud is perfect for when you still need to pay attention to your surroundings. 2. SOUND: The sound is amazing and the immersion sound (surround sound) is very cool. You can hear background sounds like being in a theater or concert. Perfect clarity and good bass but lacks that in-ear/over-the-ear extreme bass for music. 3. COMFORT: The fit was weird at first because we are all used to the in-ear concept. Once they wrapped around the ear and settled in, I didn’t even know they were in. They are practically weightless and I only took them off to charge. Great battery life. 4: In the Bose App., I loved that I could switch between devices, connectivity was quick and easy. Nice feature. OVERALL: These new concept earbuds have amazing sound I really like that they aren’t completely noise canceling. Great for interacting with surroundings while also enjoying personal background music You have to give them a chance and you will understand why they were created. Don’t be resistant to trying something new.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The good: very lightweight and comfortable, I can wear them longer than any other headphones I have (QCbuds and QC overear included). Sound quality is as you would expect from Bose - great. The bad: I live in NYC and thought these would be great to wear around so I can be aware of surroundings while listening to audio. This works for music, but I can't hear my podcasts clearly enough even with volume turned all the way up. NYC is loud, so this is probably only be a problem in very loud situations, but it was disappointing. Also, I have very sensitive skin and the backs of my ears have gotten irritated where they clip on. A pity bc they really are comfy, so hoping that calms down with time.

I have had these Bose Open Ear buds for a few weeks now. In short, they are awesome. Finally an earbud I don't have to shove in my ear. Plus, since I wear glasses, I don't have a device getting in the way of either my ear or the glasses arms. A small negative is that if you are in an area where there is a lot of noise, i.e. a gym playing lous music, then these open earbuds definitely let in too much noise. But these I can wear all day and not get fatigue or have the ear hurt. Definitely glad I bought these!

I got these about 20 days ago, Earbuds dont stay in my ears ever and I was excited about these. They stay in better, but they always feel like they are going to fall out. Perhaps its my ear shape, They work well with my phone (iphone). I live in NYC and take the trains every day. on a train, I cannot hear what is playing on my phone even when the volume is turned up. The subway and even the streets of NYC can be to loud for these. By design they allow ambient noise in, they are not noise cancelling and do not insert into your ear canal. I knew this going in and was hopeful. But most of all of what I am listening to is drowned out by ambient noise. I think they are a great design, they just dont work for me. I have a pair of QC35s that are great, I was looking for something smaller.
