[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this sharpener and a set of Zwilling Pro knifes after getting fed up with Japanese wet stone sharpening. Yes, those other knives are sharper but I prefer the ease of maintenance with the Pro knifes + this sharpener.

I love that it has a “course” and “fine” slot to really sharpen it even more. The handle and base also has a rubber grip to it as well, making it feel very sturdy and won’t slide around as you’re sharpening your kitchen knives! I love it and highly recommend for any kitchen!

The sharpener is quick and efficient tool design for both Asian and Western blade styles. After using it on some older knives, it was easy to tell how much attention they needed. It did not take much to return the old knives to sharp conditions. Easy and portable, will be taking it to other family member homes to sharpen their knives.

I know the importance of keeping my knives sharp but never had the time to maintain them regularly. Now its so quick and easy. Just a few swipes through each slot keeps my knives razor sharp. This sharpener does both Western and Japanese style cutlery. I didnt know it made a difference not owning any Japanese knives my self but after looking into it its something ill definitely look into for the future.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Good built quality, but has some issue. I have Henkels santoku knife suddenly dulled. Use the asian setting with 100 or 200 stroke to get the blade sharpern, not 20 times. Is the angle of sharpener set angle different from the original knife?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I get yelled at "You need to sharpen the knife". So I pull out the wet stones and do a nice edge. Then I find the knives in the dish washer banging around on other metals. So much for the edge. My wife does not sharpen the knives. With this pull through my wife can sharpen her knives and still get a nice edge. Then she can keep her hands off my knives. Yes we have a his and hers set. I would still use the pull through on my knives, its just not as theraputic as wet stones.

Needed a reasonably priced sharpener to easily maintain my Miyabi Kaizen and Zwilling Pro knives. My old Chef's Choice electric was not compatible with either. I have only had to use the honing slots so far due to the Zwilling and Miyabi's excellent edge retention and a couple of strokes and scalpel sharp in seconds.
