Dull knives are not the safest to use, as they can cause you do add more pressure which can cause whatever you are working on to slip and possibly cut you. The grip handle is one and large, the dual sharpening areas for Standard vs. Asian knifes is convenient. The stability of the sharpener is a bit sensitive when you are applying low pressure during the fine sharpening. The Pros: everything else, the Zwilling sharpener is MUCH better than the Pampered Chef version of a sharpening tool. Our primary knife is well loved, used multiple times daily, as this is the first time in four years we have been able to restore a genuinely sharp blade, Thank You.

The sharpener was bought six month ago and it doers not works. Knives are dull and try with many strokes to sharpen the knives. Very disappointed with this tool, and for this brand! After some inspection, it looks like the stones are rounded at the very bottom, not cutting the edge of the metal as it should.
