Our products go through extensive safety tests to ensure they are safe to use as directed, and your experience will be shared with our Safety team. If you haven’t already, we encourage you to discontinue use of the product. Please hold onto it for 2 weeks, in the case we may need to retrieve it from you. We'd like to help get you brushing with a new Oral-B toothbrush, so it may be helpful to know that in the first days of using any electric toothbrush, your gums may bleed slightly. In general, bleeding should stop after a few days. Should it persist after 2 weeks, please consult your dentist or dental hygienist. Additionally, gums may bleed if too much pressure is used. We encourage you to try to decrease the pressure and let the toothbrush do the work. As you can imagine, this isn't the experience we expect you to have with your brand new Oral-B iO, Pam. This is likely because it got into contact with an ingredient that is corrosive in nature and made the plastic porous. These things are found in things like soaps, cosmetics, and cleaning agents. You can clean the brush after each use and store the brush head and brush handle in a well ventilated and it should prevent this from happening in the future. When brushing 4 minutes a day, we expect your iO Series 7 to last around 2 weeks. We're sorry it's not lasting as long as you had expected. Please charge the brush for 24 hours, discharge it completely, fully charge the brush again, and repeat 2-3 more times.
