[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very excited to give this vitamin C a try as it was less expensive to the current one I was using and I am a big fan of Cerave products. While my skin was getting acclimated to the higher concentration of l-ascorbic acid I found my skin to be more oily by the end of the day and come to find out after two and a half weeks of continuous usage of the product I found it had denatured alcohol. I knocked it down a few stars because of that, but the addition of hyaluronic acid and ceramides, the protective packaging, and it being fragrance free were all pros for me. Like I said Cerave makes AMAZING products a few I use in my skincare routine however this one I would not buy in the future.

It makes your face feel soft and not dry. Be careful when opening because it has an opening like ointment. A little goes a long way so you don't need too much. I feel a change in my texture and a little bit of improvement in my hyperpigmentation. I'll have to use it longer

I used it for a week and i don't see many noticeable differences but hoping for results! this treatment is moisturizing and does not burn my sensitive skin at all! It does not have a strong smell so anyone that is sensitive to fragrance would like this product. I like the packaging. It ensures that you can get every last bit of product out of the tube.
