Recommended by a cosmetic dermatologist and I absolutely love it ! I ve tried other vitamin c serums this one is by far the best ! Please don't rub it all around the skin pat it with your fingers, let it absorb for a minute or two then apply your moisturizer or oil or sunscreen

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So as far as the actual serum goes I like the product. It's a little sticky after application but absorbs fairly quickly. The tube also protects the product from light which is important with vitamin C because it is a rather unstable molecule. The biggest downside I noted is that once the tube is opened it leaks very easily. I got a brand new tube and was packing for travel and noticed it leaking even with the cap on. There seems to be a very poor seal between the actual tip piece and the tube itself. Even in your hands if you squeeze the tube a little it will start to ooze out. So while the serum is great it makes it hard to take anywhere and for a frequent traveler like me, a vitamin C serum is a must after being on the plane.

When I received this product to test, I did not expect to be absolutely blown away, but I was and still am amazed at what a great product this is!! This product rivals serums that I've tried that likely cost at least triple what this does, which is really important during stressful economic times such as these. I would be able to buy this product repeatedly, because I want to AND it doesn't cost an arm and a leg! Plus, another rarity that you get with this serum over the more expensive ones is that it smells AMAZING. And above all, it doesn't negatively affect my super sensitive skin! I am absolutely in LOVE with this product, I will be buying it again, and I will for sure be having my fellow skincare lovers give it a shot! I know they will love it too! I can't wait to integrate this fully into my skincare routine.

I was wrong! The first night I tried the serum I was really surprised at how high-quality it felt. It absorbed quickly And felt very high end. After using it for about a week I started really noticing results, my skin tone was more even and a few dark spots I had were less noticeable. I definitely intend to keep using this and when I run out I will re-purchase it for myself.

Vitamin C degrades super quickly when exposed to light and air, so when serums are in clear glass bottles or droppers, they can really lose effectiveness. I love that Cerave has thought of this and put the product in an opaque squeeze tube to help the active ingredients stay more potent for longer. The product itself is really nice. I love that it's fragrance free! It sinks in easily and doesn't interact with any other moisturizers I use on top.

It was the only thing I changed in my routine and I got some congestion and spots pop up from it. It did definitely brighten up my skin however.

I love that this product is lightweight and doesn't sit too heavy. That's usually what I dislike the most about most skincare products. So it was great to find one that worked great and was lightweight. I noticed brighter, softer skin after a couple of uses. It left my skin feeling refreshed and new and not dried out. This is a great addition to my skincare routine and I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a great product to add to their skincare routine!

Cerave vitamin c facial cream is absolutely fabulous. This products benefits and it brightens all skin tones, it softens the skin. You use very little after cleansing your face. It's created by dermatologists and someone is always available to answer any questions. I highly recommend this and all Cerave products !
