This is a great product. I only purchased the first of the month but already noticed a difference in my skin. I went back to purchase another and it was gone. It was a special price but now is listed on the website as almost 3 times the price and out of stock. Hopefully they will get more in and at a better price.

I started using this product on the recommendation of a trusted friend. I am very pleased with the product and do feel that it has improved my skin texture.

I am 82 years old and only use Cerave products. I have been using Cerave vitamin C for a few months and have seen a big difference in my face...positive for sure! I have been complimented by someone saying, I now look forward to my 80's just looking at you! Life style, being active and genes play a big role also..love that Cerave products are easy to apply, no aromas, just so natural, the way I am!

This is the best vitamin c product! I have used many brands, CerVe is my favorite.

In another comment, a "doctor" mentioned that the inclusion of denatured alcohol in this formula was beneficial and may help stabilize the vitamin C. That is 100% incorrect. If you do your research, you'll see denatured alcohol can actually reduce the efficacy of vitamin C (and retinol). That aside, yes, it's also extremely drying to the skin for everyday use. Until Cerave reformulates this product without the denatured alcohol AND puts the product in an airtight pump (to avoid oxidation), I will be avoiding it. It's unfortunate, because every single other skincare product I own is Cerave, but I have to buy my vitamin C elsewhere.

My last tube, the product turned brown and when I called Cerave, they advised me not to use the remaining product because it had oxidized and sent me a coupon (thank you)to replace the defective product. Now the replacement tube has done the exact same thing , turned brown, at 3 weeks old. I have used this product for years and know to ensure the cap is tight. I need to find something different so be aware…

Disclaimer: this is an honest review for a product I paid for and used voluntarily. I regularly use and love many CeraVe products (face and body) for the superlative quality and care they offer my sensitive skin. Therefore, it was with great confidence that I decided to try their vitamin C serum as a less expensive alternative to my usual go-to (Biossance, for the record). The instant it made contact with my skin, my face turned RED. Not cute, rosey red, but 'mm, that's an allergic reaction' red. I also felt a slight burning sensation. Now, in fairness to CeraVe, it may well be that the 10% pure vitamin C is too overwhelming for my skin in particular; this product may work wonderfully for you lovelies with different skin types and I hope that it does. That said, for my fellow sensitive skin teammates (and particularly for those of you who have rosacea), you may wish to avoid this particular product. I still love you, CeraVe, but this one isn't for me. 😕

Have used the face cleanser and both lotion and cream on body for years as I loved Cerave products. I thought I'd try the face serum. Horrible! Within minutes my face felt like it was on fire, followed by ears. Quickly my entire body was covered in bright red blotches/hives from head to toes. I took pictures if you'd like to see. It was awful, burned like a bad sunburn. I didn't know what to do. I had only put on my face. I do not have overly sensitive skin and nothing like this has ever happened to me. I attached a few pics but not any that showed too much of my body but trust me, the rash was all over.
