For some reason this product oxidizes on my skin and when I wash my face at the end of the day with miceller water the pad is completely orange, even when I use no foundation. Kind of sad because I just bought this and wanted to like it. I've used different vitamin C serums before and never had this problem.

I have a well established skincare regime, I know every ingredient and I've been taking care of my skin for over 20 years, so I can recognize a good skincare formula just by reading the ingredients and evaluating if the packaging can preserve it effectively. This is one of the most impressive serums I've seen inside drugstores. I already see it working in 4 days of use and I am considering ditching my high end Vit C serum for this one

I have used this product for about 3 weeks. I can see a noticeable change in my skin. I use this daily under a sunscreen. I love it!! However I noticed that the serum is yellow now. I've used a C serum before from timeless and understand that once it's yellow the effectiveness is no longer there? Other than the color change in the tube, I've enjoyed using this product, but don't want to buy again if the tube isn't going to last me long enough to finish it before oxidation. Feedback please.

I have been using this serum for about a year now. I had purchased extremely expensive serums at Sephora and Ulta, and when money was a little tight, I needed to find an alternative that wasn't as expensive. I am SO glad I did because this serum has replaced all my other skin care products. I apply a light layer in the morning with CeraVe sunscreen on top, and I apply a very heavy layer at night. I find that a thick layer works well as a moisturizer for me at bedtime. I have noticed that my fine lines have minimized, my post-acne hyperpigmentation has calmed down, and it's one of few products that does not make me break out. I have tried almost every product in CeraVe's lines, and this is by far my favorite. I will continue to purchase this in the future!

I have been looking for a good Vitamin C gel serum to replace the one I have been using the one from Rodin and Fields (the products are fantastic but I hate buying from a pyramid scheme). I love many other Cerave products (Hydrating Cream to Foam Cleanser, and the night time moisturizing cream) but the Vitamin C serum pills up terribly. I have tried it with numerous moisturizers and sunscreens, foundations, and even alone. The pilling is terrible. I honestly can't tell if the product works or not because it really doesn't matter if my skin is brighter or not if I have little flakes and balls of Vitamin C serum all over my face.

I haven't been able to use the entire tube due to the top is beginning to oxidize. I have had it close to two weeks and I haven't noticed a difference in my skin. I can say I have noticed small additional breakouts but I don't believe it's related to this product. I won't continue to use it due to the substance that's turning brown and my skin is too sensitive to take the risk.

I wanted to love this, but I don't. I bought it yesterday and applied it this morning. I followed all of the directions. I researched a lot online about how vitamin C was an excellent addition to any skincare routine, and saw a video about this one specifically, but as you can see from the photos it left me with very orange/dirty looking strikes on my face. I applied it this morning (12h ago) after washing my face with a Lancôme lait galatee comfort, then used cetaphil gentle skin cleanser, this vitamin C and then The Ordinary 30SPF. So my skin was clean before I put it on. I think it only oxidized maybe in the areas where I probably didn't put a thick layer of sunscreen (I made sure to evenly apply it on the center of my face).. the photos don't do it Justice it was very orange. I wish I would've taken a pic of the paper towel I used to dry my face after washing it.
