Cerave Vitamin C Serum truly works! I love it because it not only fades my dark spots, but leaves my overall facial skin looking smooth and healthy. AND the tube has a shelf life (once opened) of 6 months, unlike so many other brands of Vitamin C which have a very short shelf-life. I find this product to be very economical as well since the small tube used once daily (in the morning) will last a good 4 months (sometimes even longer), as a little goes a long way. I even apply a dab to pesky dark spots on my neck and hands. The fading is gradual but definite. I am truly a big fan of Cerave Vitamin C Serum!

Amazing serum for everyday use. Nice, lightweight, gel like consistency absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a greasy residue. Full of great ingredients like: Pure Vitamin C, Vitamin B, Hyaluronic acid and Ceramides. After using it I noticed brighter, smoother complexion. My skin feels soft and hydrated throughout the day. It's also affordable which is great.

I wanted to love this, but I don't. I bought it yesterday and applied it this morning. I followed all of the directions. I researched a lot online about how vitamin C was an excellent addition to any skincare routine, and saw a video about this one specifically, but as you can see from the photos it left me with very orange/dirty looking strikes on my face. I applied it this morning (12h ago) after washing my face with a Lancôme lait galatee comfort, then used cetaphil gentle skin cleanser, this vitamin C and then The Ordinary 30SPF. So my skin was clean before I put it on. I think it only oxidized maybe in the areas where I probably didn't put a thick layer of sunscreen (I made sure to evenly apply it on the center of my face).. the photos don't do it Justice it was very orange. I wish I would've taken a pic of the paper towel I used to dry my face after washing it.

I have been using the Vitamin C serum for about six months. I've been very happy with it. I just bought a new tube and the serum was a very different color from what I have had. My previous cerave serum was a pale, creamy color. The new tube was a darker orangey tan. What's up with that? Any thoughts?

After using this serum, I saw my skin become smoother and brighter. This is due to the 10% pure Vitamin C it contains. This also helps to battle the first signs of ageing such as fine lines. This serum has had a positive impact after just two weeks. My skin looks brighter. It has a great consistency and just a drop covers a lot. My skin feels incredibly smooth and sunscreen and mineral makeup go on easily. I have sensitive skin and allergies and no problems at all with this.

I have used the many Cerave products for over 15 years and my skin is quite decent for my age. This product is a great addition to the line. Ignore the "alcohol" whining reviews - you don't see it, feel it, or smell it in this serum. It takes very little - so a tube lasts quite a while. I use it morning and night - under my other Cerave products or foundation. I have seen a real and visible difference in my skin for the good - I'm hooked. Worth the money!

I've been using CeraVe Vitamin C Serum for over a year now and it has vanished my sun spots and given my skin a wonderful glow. I keep it in the fridge and have never had an issues using this product or it turning color. Beautiful and potent vitamin C! Highly recommend!

I'm now in my 40s and my neck was starting to get that crepey skin. I was going to buy the really expensive serums, but checked out CeraVe's lineup first and found a product at 1/5 the price! I've never had a bad experience with CeraVe, so I gave it a try. I'm very happy with it. Too many reviewers are just reading the ingredient list and giving this a bad review without even trying it. Denatured is mostly ethanol. I bet the other reviewers have at least an occasional drink. Even fruit on the counter has some ethanol in it. It does not feel like an alcohol-based toner, it feels like a very light gel moisturizer. If you wear make-up, this is an excellent primer too. I use the vitamin A PM serum in the evening and this in the morning. I follow with make-up and/or sunscreen. I had a bit of sunburn on my upper chest from forgetting sunscreen one day and put this on and it seems healing too. I never write reviews, but I don't want people who have never used this product ruin it for me.

My husband, who hardly ever notices anything, told me out of the blue one day my skin looked “glowy” after using this Vitamin C serum (in conjunction with the CeraVe daily moisturizer) for a few weeks. If that doesn't deserve a 5 star rating, I don't know what does!
