I like the ease of use with the Drivecam 76. It understands my request very well. However, I only gave it a 3-star rating because of the mount. I also have the Garmin Drive Assist and the clip that mounts to the GPS can be reversed so I can use a window suction cup mount or a dash mount. I use my GPS primarily for work and I don't like having to mess with trying to put it on the windshield every day. I also don't like the rings left on the windshield from the suction cup. I just don't understand why you didn't design the Drivecam 76 the same as the Drive Assist 51. It looks like it would have been as simple as making a notch in the bottom of the case like the one on the top so the clip could be turned over. Also, I think having the GPS mounted to the windshield blocks more of my view while driving.

I upgraded from the nüviCam, which bricked on me after a recent software update. I guess that's a subtle way of telling me It was time to retire the older model. I'm happy to see a few new features: usb-c, Wi-Fi and a vault feature for saving videos. Seems slightly more user friendly than its predecessor. I do miss the magnetic mount from the previous model, but the software is much more robust and the user interface is more intuitive. There is a bit more video wobble in this new version.

Very happy with unit easy to use what I really love about it and I was very surprised by it. It notify me speed cameras ahead. Now thats priceless especially in Savannah Georgia who new. Love it so many nice options. Smile your on camera, very nice.

Once you own a Garmin DriveCam 76 you will gain confidence of knowing that you have documentation of your travels in case of a driving incident. This being just one feature of the “76”. The vary accurate point to point directions provides enormous advantages especially in heavy traffic. Other features are “Ok Garmin “ hands free instruction, speed limit information, lane departure. Once you owne your “76” discover many other features.

Bought about a month ago to replace an older Garmin. Lots of good features like lane assist, collision avoidance. Navigates well but disappointed that two features from my older Garmin Nuvi 1350 can do were removed from the Drivecan 76. First, feature to avoid Toll Roads doesn't seem to be an option. I was in DC area and trying to avoid the Tolls as I didn't have an EZ-Pass and many toll booths are unmanned. Second feature that appears to be missing is Miles Remaining. We were doing cross country driving and its always helpful to know how many miles remain and not just simply arrival time. Tried to find options for both but don't seem to be in the documentation. Online documentation also lacking here.

I bought this about 3 weeks ago, updated software, loaded new Map. Aftrer all typed in address did not find the place, had to use my phone to get to a Doctor's appointment, off course getting lost I was late. Called Garmin Tech Service, had him use the same address, he determined it was way off, he said will report it to Map derpartment, here is the address 3390Tamiami Trl. Port Charlotte FL.33952 see where it tkes you. Make sure check against Google Map or Ph. Asked service what is the remedy, answer check back in November. My answer, it's going back to Amozon.

This is my fourth or fifth Garmin and because of view obstruction in my vehicle, I have always used a friction mount. It makes it easy to adjust and remove completely on the run from my vehicle. I purchased the 76 to upgrade from my drive assist 51 which has a dash cam and works just fine not stuck to the windshield. On the 76 I keep purchasing devices like friction mounts and even vent/cup mounts (giving up on the dash cam part) and NOTHING is deep enough to fit and hold the device. It’s just not necessary to force a windshield mount and I’m not happy considering how much the 76 cost. I like the other features but overall, I’m not satisfied.

Really enjoying the Combined features of the Camera and Navigation. Once one learns the "language", accessing the features is a breeze. My only "CON" observation is that the camera lens "sticks out" a bit, so when storing it in the GARMIN universal soft case, it seems "bulky". NOTE: Be sure and "Align" the camera properly or the "Lane Departure" feature can behave incorrectly.

Am trying to get use to suction mount! Nice features! Would like good operating video! Have found some online! Some issues with transferring favorites from older Garmin and would like a USB C connector! Good so far! Would like to have the Female Australian voice back! Airplane symbol options/Biplane especially! Thanks

This unit provides an even better capability with having an app to draw the data directly to my phone. It allows me to store events in a secure vault and locate my vehicle. With video and picture being so common today for evidence this GPS Camera is the perfect tool. You can hear all activity, records speed and location and the video and pictures are crystal clear be it low light or on a bright sunny day. This is a must have unit.
