I bought this to replace and old Nuvi. Its good having a second gps in the car besides my cell phone... I use Waze as well... but I like the redundancy... one complaint I have is the garmin seems slower than Waze. Dashcam is ESSENTIAL... dont leak the driveway without a dashcam in your windsheild... people do the craziest things... my wife saw a school bus trying to squeeze into parking space in NYC... it ripped the front corner off a parked car but the bus driver acted like he/she didnt know.... all on my dashcam video.

Even though I have navigation maps in my car, the Garmins I've had have always been far more accurate. This new Garmin DriveCam 76 is the best yet. The Dash Cam is really neat, along with features such as the collision avoidance when I get too close to the car in front of me, and it is speed dependent. There is also an alert for cars approaching on the sides. All the usual features traffic awareness, parking suggestions on your arrival make this the best Garmin navigation tool I have had.

Really enjoying the Combined features of the Camera and Navigation. Once one learns the "language", accessing the features is a breeze. My only "CON" observation is that the camera lens "sticks out" a bit, so when storing it in the GARMIN universal soft case, it seems "bulky". NOTE: Be sure and "Align" the camera properly or the "Lane Departure" feature can behave incorrectly.

This is my newest DriveCam Garmin of 2 others that I own. This unit has really stepped forward my other units. The App feature are awesome from quick locate of your vehicle to being able to review video storage. In the days where video evidence is essential of accidents, crimes, or just seeing cool things during your drive. The screen pixels are the best that I have seen and the size of the unit is perfect for a mustang.

This is my fourth or fifth Garmin and because of view obstruction in my vehicle, I have always used a friction mount. It makes it easy to adjust and remove completely on the run from my vehicle. I purchased the 76 to upgrade from my drive assist 51 which has a dash cam and works just fine not stuck to the windshield. On the 76 I keep purchasing devices like friction mounts and even vent/cup mounts (giving up on the dash cam part) and NOTHING is deep enough to fit and hold the device. It’s just not necessary to force a windshield mount and I’m not happy considering how much the 76 cost. I like the other features but overall, I’m not satisfied.

Used for first time on 12/18/24 and greatly enjoyed the differences from my prior Drive Assist 50. Some of the nice changes: When changing routes, when knowing back roads, no more verbal message recalculating, better turn information, instead of turn right at next intersection, it's turn right at the light or turn left and end of current street. The base voise is the only one that allows for Garmin Drive connection, and I had download other voices, and the one I miss that was fun, was Squirrly the squirrel. Hope you make him available for DriveCam. Other that that really like the larger screen

So I had to replace my old Garmin camera GPS- map updates no longer support. Have had it 2 weeks and still learning. My problem is with a stand to mount on the dash board- suction cups don't work and my state does not allow suction cups on the windshield. Need a stand like my old Garmin that fits and works well on the dash board. Also what's up with the "Traffic Moving" notification- don't need it plus would like to turn this notification off.

Great unit! screen is larger so easier to read and mount seems better then the smaller units. still getting used to the differences between the new one and my Dashcam 51 I have used for several years. the newer features are nice. I did not connect to my phone because my phone connects better with my F250 with apple play to make calls. I use several gps applications at same time as some differ and give different information and therefore provides different route options at times.

Received this DriveCam 76 today, 5/27/2024. Brand new, not refurbished the camera does not work because the BRAND NEW memory card that came with the camera is worn out and needs to be replaced. It’s going back tomorrow if I can’t get it going tomorrow morning,

Am trying to get use to suction mount! Nice features! Would like good operating video! Have found some online! Some issues with transferring favorites from older Garmin and would like a USB C connector! Good so far! Would like to have the Female Australian voice back! Airplane symbol options/Biplane especially! Thanks
