Great Product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dryer almost a year ago and just love it. I never used to dry my clothes in previous dryers because they would shrink them. This dryer is perfect no issues with my clothes and it works great. Would definitely buy it again.
Great dryer with smart features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an awesome dryer for anyone who enjoys smart home devices and Samsung products. As a dryer, it preforms perfect like you would expect from a Samsung appliance. I have dried numerous loads of laundry by now and have had no issues getting clothes of all types clean and dry. There are many different presets for different types of clothes or other laundry items. The best part however, is the addition of the smart features. It was extremely simple to connect to the Samsung Smart Things app. Once connected it can be easily controlled from the app. You can set the exact settings you want and send them to the dryer. The best part is being able to see how much time is remaining and getting notifications when complete. The only downside is that you have to remember to turn the dryer on and enable smart control each time you use it. As long as you remember to do this when putting the clothes in however, it isn't much of a problem.
Doesn’t do a good job drying clothes
no matter what i do, i can’t get this dryer to dry clothes well. around 90% of each load is dry, but 10% is always damp. which causes the whole load to smell like mildew. very disappointing. i’ve turned off the auto sensor. i’ve changed the dryer settings (heat, times, etc…). i’ve made sure everything is not wadded up. i’ve tried to wash similar items together (i.e. all denim, all cotton). but something is always damp. is there a way to fix this?

First time electric dryer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always used a gas dryer, because I know it is efficient, and drys clothes faster. But I am surprised how quickly my full load of clothes dried in the new gorgeous Samsung Electric Dryer.. It was very quiet the whole time. I paired the dryer with my Samsung Smartthings setup, so I even got the notification at the end of the cycle. Only thing I didn't like is the LED light in the dump is very weak, so there is hardly any light. But my laundry room light is good enough to illuminate inside the dryer as well.
7100 Series Dryer sings a lovely tune

An app to notify my "tenant" that their clothes are dry so they aren't sitting in there getting wrinkled or holding up the process. Holds a ton of clothes and dries pretty evenly. Still learning all of the settings. Happy!
Works Great
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new Samsung washer has been excellent so far. The positives: 1. Superior performance: it works great. All the programs we have tested are effective, efficient and doing what they are supposed to be doing. I tried the app and controlling the washer from the app, and that has been nice. I can make some changes or turn the washer on without going downstairs to the laundry room. Convenient. 2. Appearance. The washer looks nice in the laundry room. It is tall, which I love as I am tall myself. Love the rounded edges and clear lid. 3. Capacity. I have washed three sets of bedding sheets, and they all fit easily into the washer. No complaints here. 4. Savings. It saves water, energy and time for my family. Highly recommended.
It's okay
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would give higher stars for the dryer if when needing to redry it works. I have dried my clothes and a few may still be wet. I'll place them back in the dryer to dry some more and when selecting normal dry which is about 56 minutes after about 5 minutes it turns right back off. Not sure why it does that, but this feature needs to change. We should be able to redry the clothes even after taking it out. I like the dry sense the same items and will not redry them, unless I put in a new load to dry and sometimes that does not work either.

Jury is still out
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this dryer for a little more than a month. Doesn’t always dry the load after one cycle. I have made sure that it is not too big of a load but it doesn’t matter the size. If it continues I will be asking for a new one.

Just not as reliable as they used to be.
We bought the washer/dryer combo about 6 years ago. Washer still working great, dryer started having controls problems after 3 years, where the cycle wouldn't continue. The plastic lint trap area near the door also warped and allowed clothes to catch/rip around year 4 needing repairs. year 5, the dryer became really loud and couldn't keep loads balanced and now, the housing near the drum is damaged and the dryer is no longer usable. Also, drying took longer and longer around year 4 and with the controls, we had to set the timer manually because the pre-programmed load settings wouldn't continue. also, the door latching mechanism wore out around year 5.

What's happened to the dryer drum?
I recently purchased the Samsung 5.5 cu.ft. Speed Wash Washer and matching 7.4 cu.ft. Smart Gas Dryer w/ Steam, but when I opened the dryer door and saw how small the dryer drum was, I knew instantly that something wasn't right. I made this purchase knowing full well, what to expect because, I just left a home where I used the same Samsung Washer and Dryer for nearly 5 years, minus the Steam feature on the Dryer so, I'm very familiar with the pair. Moreover, that's exactly why I purchased them, I was really pleased with the features and load capacity of both the washer and the dryer. Is there anyone else out there who wonders the same or, should I direct this question to Samsung? Samsung did you change the capacity of the dryer to commodate the steam apperatus, or to Sam's Club, did I receive the wrong dryer? Either way, I have tried to make the best of it, but I can't put a full load from the washer into the dryer because it just doesn't fit. Please help.
