Exciting large screen streaming!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I upgraded from 50 to 55 inch and I feel that I'm at the game or in the theater with the vivid picture! I am excited about all the free content Vizio provides including many different channels, movies, and music videos!

A MESS!!!

The original delivery was great!! Once we realized it was damaged, the chaos began!! A complete mess!! Too much to list...long and short we eventually had to pick up the TV because of an incorrect address that I tried to fix with 4 phone calls and over 2 hours of phone conversations...very disappointed with it!! No return phone calls as told, a big mess!!!

You will need additional equipment to watch in 4K

I bought the VIZIO 65" - M65Q7-J01, unfortunately SmartCast apps such as Fubo and YouTube, and Watch Free+ will not deliver video in 4K (2160p). Channels like NBC, ATT Sports NET, in SmartCast /Fubo play at only 720p, and 4K YouTube videos will play at only 1080p max in SmartCast. I then got a 4K Roku and plugged it into an HDMI port, and tested the same channels and streams that were only at 720p in SmartCast were now streaming in 4K/2160p every time while using the Roku (and the TV had a nice picture). I searched every menu option multiple times to see if it was configuration, including with the SmartCast Android app, but was of no help. The Vizio support person was very patient, and we tested my LAN connection to the TV, and he said it was more than enough bandwidth. We got one Amazon Prime video to briefly play in 4K, but every other attempt I/We made failed. The support person felt that achieving 4K one time out of many meets the “SmartCast supports 4K” standard, but I think the 100% success rate I had with the Roku should be the standard. And the DolbyVision feature is wasted. Its disappointing that extra equipment is required to actually enjoy 4K, and another issue has come up where the TV will just show a black screen when on the HDMI port with the Roku. After much effort I discovered that this is fixed with the reboot option which I have had to do twice today. I have a Vizio 43” 1080p for 13 years, and it seemed like a good idea at the time to go with a Vizio 4K.

Great TV, at first

Bought this TV in January of 2021. Great TV! Great picture, great options! This evening I got a small green line in the picture while watching Sunday Night Football. I thought it was a glitch in the networks graphics. It was not. It was the TV. I contacted the Vizio Support and they are supposed to be sending a replacement TV out. I would love to just return this to the store but don't think I can, I will check tomorrow. I was happy to hear about the members 3 year warranty from Sam's Club upon purchase but didn't think it would be this soon. I will update once process is concluded to inform you how it goes.

Picture is bad after 2 years of use.

I bought my Vizio TV because it had decent ratings and was a good price. I've had issues with the operating system for a while. I can't use bluetooth headphones without connecting them, then turning the TV off and connecting them again. If I don't do that the sound cuts in and out. Sometimes switching from my PS5 to my cable TV would cause the picture to be distorted and I would have to change channels to get the distortion to go away. Now that I've had my TV for about two years, I now see horizontal lines across the screen when viewing certain colors. (Mostly reds , pinks and flesh tones.) Even resetting the TV to factory conditions and making sure all the connections are solid, I still have the problem.

Huge Supporter of Vizio Until I Bought 2 65”ers

Huge fan of Vizio until both of my 65” Quantums went whacky on me. The units cycle through on off, going to black screen repeatedly with no audio. I have to restart both TV's to get them to stop cycling on and then black screen. I have religiously stayed up to date with all up dates but still after 2 years no solution to whacky Quantum's. Very frustrating.

Web site wrong. TV Great however

Love the TV. Don't like that it doesn't support DirecTV streaming. I did a search on Sam's for TV's that did and this one came up... But it doesn't.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vision 65” M-series has served me well for about 4 years. The Remote an the onscreen directions are very end user friendly.

Love Vizio!

Ever since I bought my first Vizio, so impressed! Bought a Samsung, but immediately turned around and returned it. Such an awesome screen and all the available controls!
